We view ourselves as part of the pets extended family and we treat the animals that visit us as if they are our own - with love, compassion and care. We encourage pet owners to adopt a healthy lifestyle for their pets including natural, balanced nutrition, exercise, behavioural enrichment and preventive health care. We utilise a whole-of-lifestyle approach in our veterinary practice to keep pets in good health and ensure a long, active and happy life. At Northfield Vet clinic we pride ourselves on our skill, experience and training - and on our inter-personal skills. Vets and nurses are highly valued contributors to our clinic and we provide a friendly and supportive work place to make the clinic an enjoyable place to be in for staff and for our clients. Introducing our newest vet to NVC, Dr Rebekah 🤗

Dr Rebekah’s love of surgery, wealth of experience and cheeky sense of humour has meant she has slotted into the team perfectly already!

“I graduated in 1998 from the University of Queensland and started my career in mixed practice in Kadina on the Yorke Peninsula with a special interest in equine medicine and surgery. I have worked in clinics in Port Pirie, Gawler, Outer Harbour and Gloucester, UK. After satisfying my travel bug I settled down back in SA and bought a clinic in Gawler in 2004. I relocated and transformed it into a purely small animal practice in 2011 and grew the business into a fantastic service until it’s sale in 2023. I stayed working there until early 2026 when I decided it was time for a fresh start at Northfield Vet Clinic!!

I love surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedics! When I’m not standing at a surgery table, I love riding my endurance horses Margot, Willow and Digby, racing around with my ridgeback Mia or chasing after my boys Archer and Casper!!”

Named after the one and only Bryce Cotton, it only felt right to suit him up in his official 36ers jersey before his desexing procedure today here at NVC! 💙❤️

Safe to say he handled his hospital stay like a true champion.. calm, brave, composed and won the crowd (our nurses!) over. Lucky for him, our team are huge Adelaide 36ers fans! 🫡⭐️🐶
