We recently had the pleasure of caring for beautiful Miss Lucy 🐾

True to her adventurous spirit, Lucy was out exploring the bay with her parents when she unfortunately sliced her paw pad on an oyster shell. Ouch!

Dr Meghan and Dr Amy worked together to provide Lucy with the best possible care. Operating on her wound so she can get back on the right paws in no time. Throughout her stay, Lucy was an incredibly brave girl and quickly stole all of our hearts with her goofy, lovable personality 💛

We hope you’re recovering well, Lucy and maybe taking it just a little easier on the next adventure! 🐶

Meet Annie 🐾

Annie is a beautiful 5-year-old desexed Staffy X with the sweetest nature and so much love to give. She recently came into our care through no fault of her own and now she’s searching for the loving forever home she truly deserves.

This gentle girl is house-trained, lead-trained, travels wonderfully in the car, and already knows multiple tricks, she’s a clever cookie who loves making her people proud! Annie also absolutely adores her toys and enjoys spending time playing.

Annie would thrive in a calm home environment with understanding owners who can help set her up for success with ongoing training. She would make a loyal, loving companion for the right family. ❤️

We recently had the pleasure of having miss Pippin in for her desexing.
She was a true delight when in the hospital. Our team could not get enough of Her!.

Misha spent the day with us at Cooks Hill Vet Clinic for a cystotomy procedure and we’re pleased to say everything went smoothly!
She was a brave girl throughout the day and handled her surgery like a champ. After her procedure, Misha recovered comfortably with plenty of monitoring, warmth, and gentle care from our team.

She enjoyed lots of quiet rest and a few well earned cuddles while waking up, and by the afternoon she was bright, alert, and on the road to recovery.

We’re so proud of how well she did today and look forward to seeing her continue to bounce back at home. 💛

Teething is a normal (and sometimes chaotic!) stage for puppies and kittens 🦷🐾

As their baby teeth fall out and adult teeth come through, you might notice increased chewing, sore gums, drooling, or even a bit of irritability. This is all part of growing up but it can be uncomfortable for them.

Providing safe chew toys and appropriate outlets for chewing can help soothe their gums and protect your furniture at the same time.
