These include Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), both these fatty acids are used widely as natural remedies for arthritis in animals and humans. Canterflex also contains Eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA), scientists in New Zealand believe ETA may have strong anti-inflammatory properties when combined with other omega 3 fatty acids. These and other phospholipids in Canterflex are thought to act synergistically to have an anti-inflammatory action.
