Switched your dog to fresh food and they're still scratching?
Here's what no one tells you about food allergies in dogs.
Fresh food is a real step up from kibble. But if your dog made the switch and is still itchy, the issue might not be how the food is made. It might be what's in it.
Most fresh dog food, cooked or raw, still runs on chicken, beef and lamb.
If those are the trigger, changing the cooking method won't do much. A protein the immune system has never encountered is a different story: no prior exposure means no immune memory, which is the whole idea behind a novel protein diet.
Ranges Raw is raw, single-protein dog food built around proteins most dogs have never had: venison, kangaroo and goat. Diced, not minced. Formulated by a Registered Animal Nutritionist (RAnNutri), and rotated over time to support dietary diversity and reduce single-protein overexposure.
One honest thing: novelty is individual, not categorical. Kangaroo has been in pet food for years, so we verify every dog's dietary history at onboarding and start them on the right protein.
