Say hello to this week's star... Bruiser! 🤎🐾

Despite his tough-sounding name, Bruiser is the complete opposite! He's a gentle soul with a heart of gold who absolutely loves cuddles and soaking up all the attention. 🥰

We're lucky enough to have Bruiser join us on our walks- but even luckier that he's our next-door neighbour! It means we get to see his sweet face even more often. 🏡💛

Safe to say, Bruiser has everyone wrapped around his paw. 🐾🤎

This week's feature is a true Aussie legend... Red Dog! ❤️🐕

Known for roaming the Pilbara in Western Australia during the 1970s, Red Dog won the hearts of locals and travellers alike. Rather than belonging to one person, he became a dog loved by an entire community.

Fun fact: Red Dog is believed to have travelled thousands of kilometres, often hitching rides with truck drivers to visit his favourite places and people. 🚛

Friendly, adventurous, and fiercely independent, Red Dog's incredible story became so well known that it inspired a bestselling book and a beloved Australian film.

Meet this week's star... Bonnie!🤎

Bonnie is a beautiful Labrador with a unique little feature that makes her extra special- a birthmark on her tongue! 👅✨

Fun fact: Those dark spots are simply extra pigmentation, kind of like a freckle, and they're completely normal! 🐾

When it's time for our walks, Bonnie loves leading the way. Confident, curious, and always ready for an adventure, she's happiest out exploring with her tail wagging.

This week we're shining the spotlight on Yuki! 🤍

Yuki might be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she's an absolute sweetheart. Her favourite possession? Her beloved Kong! You'll rarely see her without it, and she's always up for a game if you're willing to throw it for her. 🎾

Watching Yuki grow in confidence each visit has been such a joy, and we're so lucky to have her as part of our pack. 🐶💛

Meet Boy!

Boy is a Blue Cattle Dog and one of our favourite weekly walking buddies. He’s full of energy, loyalty, and personality- though he can get a little frightened by thunder and lightning. 🌩️🐶

Storms can be stressful for some dogs, but a few simple things can make a big difference:
• Create a safe, cosy space for them to hide
• Use background noise like the TV, radio, or a fan to soften thunder sounds
• Offer lick mats, frozen Kongs, or long-lasting chews to help calm nerves
• Close curtains to reduce lightning flashes
• Most importantly- stay calm and reassuring. Fear is real, not bad behaviour

If your dog’s anxiety is severe or getting worse, chat with your vet for extra support 💛

We’re always happy to adjust walks and routines with storms in mind- your dog’s comfort always comes first!

Meet Trev!

Trev loves a good game of fetch and never says no to one of our walks. He’s especially fond of meeting new, friendly faces along the way- usually greeting them with plenty of excitement and a few happy jumps!

We’re lucky enough to walk Trev weekly, with the occasional home visit where we get to play fetch in his very own backyard. Living his best life, really🐕🎾
