human interaction through grooming, massage and handling. Our unique Engageβ„’ Training Program is a fusion of horsemanship, science based theory, biomechanics, straightness and classical training with a strong focus on regulation, balance and body control, this builds security and self confidence and equips the horse to achieve tasks asked of them, reduces the incidence of vices on the ground and under saddle and harbours a relationship based on trust between human and horse. All training programs begin on the ground and encourage body confidence and awareness, balance and straightness, while improving and correcting muscle tone to enable self-carriage. This promote willingness, soundness and longevity, aids a fluid transition to ridden training and consistently produces mentally and physically engaged equine partners, across a variety of ages, breeds and participating in a variety of disciplines.

No one learns well when they’re stressed or fatigued.

During the slow work is where problem solving, processing and confidence building happen.

As each tiny piece of training becomes consolidated we can begin to combine them, build resilience and expand comfort zones.

This weekend was a special one…

I ran an exclusive 2-day immersive clinic for my Engaged Equines Brand Ambassadors. And I have to say, my cup is well and truly full!

Not one of these horses or humans is the same as those of the start of the year, when I say they’re dedicated I mean they are putting in the hours, hard yards and maximum effort… and it shows.

More to come on what we worked on and what they discovered! πŸ€— for now enjoy watching their pretty ponies prance 🐎
