Just letting everyone know SunCoast Frogs has officially closed its door as of November 2024, apologies for not answering messages too, it just got out of hand with over 200 unanswered messages and counting.
We are currently clearing out the last of what we have, after the excess livestock has gone we will have quite a few enclosures available - currently to go we have adult diamond pythons, adult pair of caramel jags producing axanthics and ghosts, adult magnificent tree frogs and adult gillens tree frogs - no holds and pick up on the Sunshine Coast thanks.
Please message me directly if wanting to purchase at Ryan Stone as the SunCoast Frogs inbox is a sh*tshow atm and there will be no more substrate at this stage.
A big thanks to all of our followers and supporters over the last 4 years you guys are legends.
Cheers

7 frogs (L.splendida) moved in to their new home today with temps and humidity that are set to match the average conditions in the Kimberley's for this month, hopefully they are feeling right at home in their new digs.
They seem pretty content and I'm looking forward to seeing the fig trees and grasses grow in and spread out. These frogs will outlive every lizard we have and probably most of our snakes as well so made sense to give them a decent upgrade 🙂

We had some breeding pairs of freshwater crabs last summer and that project was a total disaster, I did everything I was told but one by one they insisted on dying.
When I emptied the original crab tank there was an unexpected lone survivor which was put into one of the rain chamber tanks as I had no where else, a few weeks later I found either shed crab skin or remains and then the food stopped disappearing, never saw it again.
Until today! 4 months later.
So today was pruning back the severely overgrown plants in the rain chamber and started feeling around in all the holes and crevices and found the little finger pincher, seems Mrs Snips has survived all winter with no heater, no filter, lots of sunken timber, no food and no pH adjustment - all the things they said not to do and she has grown twice the size.
Once again not sure what to do with her as I now need the rain chamber for froggo's or maybe its time to just build another rain chamber and this is now the crabitat

We are slowly upgrading all of our enclosures one by one and heres a quick sneak peak at our magnificent tree frog enclosure which is still currently being worked on 🙂
It has full heating and cooling, app controlled lighting, wind, rain and a 200 litre pond insert in the bottom of it.
Can't wait to finally get them in here in another few weeks 🙂
