This boy has had 5 days off due to some unforeseen circumstances. Saddled up and off we went, he is such a pleasure to be around, led the breaker from him, he was amazing, the young breaker was right on his hind end quiet a few times and Dennis wasn’t phased. Kangaroos jumping out and he wasn’t phased. Horses like this don’t come along every day. Will get more video of his Adventures this week.

✨ Handsome, Versatile Gelding – Safe & Genuine Allrounder ✨

Dennis had a short racing career (only 2 starts) before retiring early, and has since gone on to become a lovely, reliable allrounder.

He is a pleasure to have around with a kind, willing nature and an affectionate personality. A big, free-striding horse with three lovely paces, he is soft in the mouth, moves freely, and stays light in the bridle while taking great care of his rider. He has been well educated on the flat.

Previously shown, but no longer suited to that lifestyle, as it was decided it wasn’t in his best interest to be holding a consistent frame for multiple events due to his laryngoplasty. He is now enjoying a quieter and more versatile routine. He is well travelled and used the being tied at the float for long periods.

✅ Easy to catch, shoe, and float.

Previously shod, he is currently barefoot and going well.

Since being here, he has enjoyed plenty of trail riding both alone and in company, has been introduced to obstacles and cavaletti, and has started small jumps. He has also been led from a buggy and his flatwork has been consistently maintained.
Also has shown to be great with my kids, chickens, dogs, machinery and motorbikes.

He has proven to come back into work well after a spell and has no known vices.

An adaptable and genuine horse, he would suit a rider looking for a safe, low-level allrounder to enjoy a variety of activities in a relaxed home.

He has been paddocked alone alongside other horses for several years. Since arriving here, he has integrated well with some horses given time, although he can be selective initially.

✨ He did undergo a laryngoplasty (tie-back surgery) in his earlier years; however, this has caused no issues, and routine awareness is advised.

No other health or soundness concerns are known.
