Good evening Everyone,
When you drop off your dog(s) and I tell you that I will message or call you when the dogs(s) are ready for pick up, PLEASE do not arrive before I have messaged you.
The reason for this is for your dogs safety as well as mine. Imagine working on a dog who is standing still, then they hear or see their owner show up and all of a sudden move while sharp scissors are near their body and they get cut (thankfully that has not happened) but it has resulted in myself getting cut instead (which I would prefer happen, but would prefer it doesn't). Or you are cutting toe nails and they move because they have seen/heard you and I cut the quick and blood is everywhere.
So from now on if you show up before I've messaged you your dog is ready I will be stopping the grooming and you will go home with an unfinished dog. I will no longer be putting your dog or myself at risk of injury because you can follow instructions.
Thankfully this applies only to a few clients, I truly appreciate my clients that do wait until I've messaged them.
