No prizes for guessing who SWEETSUGARCANDYMAN is named after, and I reckon he’d be pretty bloody chuffed with that win tonight. Craig & Greg didn’t get to work alongside each other for nearly long enough, but the friendship and workplace respect were established quickly. Congrats to Craig tonight on a lovely win with his boy (in some special colours too!) and great to have Ryan steer him to victory. We’ve got a great little team here at the moment. A terrific crew of staff and a lovely assembly of horses. Team Larajay have experienced plenty of lows but each day we show up and we continue to gain momentum.

11 years old and at start 196, LENARD ESS scores his 19th win in the Hyland Racing Colours Pace! Not bad for a horse who at 3 was never meant to race again. He’s some kind of wizard that Dr Ian Fulton. We love you Lenny & you always seem to know when we need cheering up!
