We are super excited to announce the arrival of Laser Therapy at Pet Medical! ✨

This pain-free treatment is designed to help improve your pet’s comfort, mobility and recovery - with most sessions taking only 4–10 minutes. Safety glasses are provided during the therapy to protect the pet’s eyes from the laser light.
Laser therapy can assist with:
✔ Pain management
✔ Reducing inflammation
✔ Recovery and healing
✔ Improving mobility
✔ Supporting post-surgical recovery

🚧 Parking Update for Pet Medical Clients 🚧

Please note that access to our front car park is currently limited while we undertake improvements to our parking facilities.

The front entrance is restricted to a single access point at the northern end of the property. If parking is unavailable at the front, we kindly ask clients to use the rear car park located behind the Equine Podiatry & Lameness Centre, accessible via Aberdeen Street.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to improve your visit to Pet Medical.

Since everyone went nuts over last week's kitten post, I thought I would introduce
T E D D Y 🐈 he may not be a Maine C**n, but he needs a loving home

How handsome is this young man?
Teddy is a very sweet, affectionate 1yr old boy looking to connect with his new family. Teddy is great with kids and other cats (untried with dogs yet). Teddy has a lot of love to give, and we really hope he can find his special place in the world. Teddy is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and flea-treated.

7 adorable Maine C**n Kittens came into the Muswellbrook clinic for desexing with Dr Vicky before going off to their new homes. 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈 🥰

Fun Fact: Maine C**n cats keep growing until they are five years of age, can weigh up to 12 kg, love water, and tend to communicate using soft, melodic chirps, trills, and chatter.

Little "Puppy" is enjoying some cuddles with nurse Bella after his procedure.
He had a rubber band stuck to his front leg, which made the leg swell and act like a tourniquet. The puppy needed mild sedation to remove it and is now recovering well.🥰

🤔 Why do we use dog pouches/slings?
Reduces Stress & Anxiety: Mimics the feeling of being held, which calms the nervous system during the disorienting recovery phase.

The scone nurses recently went on a road trip to vaccinate and do health checks on our rural clients.🚙🐕🐈🐐🦚
Well done to Nurses Eloise and Nurse Bec, who thoroughly enjoyed the mammoth effort.

For all appointments, please park at the rear of the Equine Podiatry & Lameness Centre, off Aberdeen St and follow the temporary signs directing you to the clinic entrance. 🚸➡️
