K9 Nose Fun K9 Nose Work® is the FUN new sport for you and your dog. It's not work, though. It's FUN! K9 Nose Fun Does your dog like to sniff? Have you considered nose work?

Are you looking for something to keep your dog entertained on a cold, wet, or stinking hot afternoon? Something you can do indoors or outdoors, and uses very little equipment? K9 Nose Fun. K9 Nose Work® is the fun search and scenting activity for nearly all dogs and their people. It is easy to learn, and helps build confidence and focus in many dogs. It is a safe way to keep dogs mentally and physically fit. It is ideal for shy or reactive dogs, because only one dog works at a time, while the other dogs are kept out of the working area. Classes currently being run in Richmond, Donvale, Murrumbeena, and beyond. Other locations on demand. "Have boxes, will travel". A self paced online Introduction to K9 Nose Work course is also available

I have a Cert IV in Companion Animal Services, and a Diploma of Business (Admin). I am a CNWI (Certified Nose Work Instructor), and was a Detector Dog Handler with a Government Department for 10 years. I am a member of APDT, PPGA, DI, NACSW, ACSW. A former ACSW Judge and Certifying Official, I am now an ANKC Scent Work Judge.

First week of the latest Intro course. After a little hesitation, these dogs picked the game up so quickly! I am going to have work hard to keep up with them over the next few weeks 🧡🐾
