It is with such a heavy heart that we have to do this. Theo is our beautiful boy, but because of a naughty mistake, he must be rehomed, or face being put down.
He escaped our yard, went on a fun adventure, but ended up at our neighbours farm, chased their sheep, bit one, and it ended up dying the next day.
Our neighbours are (rightfully so) not happy one bit, and have demanded that action be taken.

We are normally the ones who take in surrendered, unwanted, death-row dogs... Never in a million years, did we think we would be the one's in this position, and it breaks my heart. But even with us taking measures to secure our yard like Fort Knox, our neighbours do not want the risk of it happening again, so we must find Theo a new home.

Anyone who has come out to the farm to meet their new puppy, has most likely met Theo, and he is the friendliest, most lovable, smoochy guy.

Theo is a 2 year old, entire male, Australian Cattle Dog.

He is great with our children and new children who come to visit.

He is good with other dogs of all ages and sizes, BUT he likes to be the dominant dog, so sometimes does not see eye to eye with other entire male dogs/other dominant dogs.

Theo knows basic obedience, and has great recall. We never have to walk him on a leash around the farm. He is happy to follow us where we go. On our afternoon walks, he happily runs along beside us. He loves a good buggy/motorbike run along too!

We have had him since he was 8 weeks old, and have raised him with exposure to most things, like we do with our pups.

All of our dogs are regularly wormed and flea treated.

I would love for him to go to a home on acerage, as that is all he has ever known. But if the right people came along, who are willing to give him his exercise, and will spoil him being an inside dog, I will consider a residential home also.

Like all Dogs, but especially Australian Cattle Dogs, they need attention and exercise. And I will only consider the very best home options for our Theo. Someone with experience with Cattle Dogs.

Theo is NOT a working dog, he is a beloved family pet, and will not go to a working dog environment. So do not ask, he does not work, and is not able to learn now.

If Theo sounds like he would suit your family, or you know of someone who might be interested in giving him a loving, beautiful home, then please share this or contact me.

I am happy to answer any questions, and for those who enquire, please don't be offended when I ask you a million.

The puppies visited the Vets this week and all passed their checks with flying colours๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฉต๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ’›.
Microchips went in and they had their first vaccinations.
They were all super brave and such good girls and boys. Afterwards they were exhausted from their big morning out and spent the rest of the day resting (and the needles make them a bit sleepy too). They are 7 and a half weeks old- I like to get their vet work done a few days before they start to leave for their forever homes (at 8 weeks), so that they have time to settle incase their are any upset tummies or reactions.

I have been a bit slack with posting updates on the babies! Their new families have been getting their updates and photos, but I forgot to post them! Here they are at 6 weeks old, playing and having the best time in their new tunnel. They have also been giving stairs a go and love to paddle in their shell pool.
All pups have been reserved and their beautiful new homes aren't too far away (once 8 weeks old).

๐ŸŽ„โœจ๏ธMERRY CHRISTMAS โœจ๏ธ๐ŸŽ„
Babies are 5 weeks old and had a beautiful Christmas with us in Hervey Bay.
They enjoyed travelling in the car, exploring their new surroundings and most importantly- meeting lots of new people young and old and getting millions of pats and snuggles.
Usually when we have a litter of pups, part of their socialising exercise is to take them to our local primary school to meet the children and have experiences outside of their comforts of home- like new places, different smells, new people and LOTS of people interacting with them at once. These pups won't get that as it's school holidays. But Christmas celebrations provided that same social experiences for them, if not more as they interacted with lots of different ages of people from babies to our 96 year old Grandma.
They all did so well, and were happy and excited to be held, pat, and played with by everyone. None showed any signs of being shy or scared, which is a great sign.

Our Australian Cattle Dog Puppies are 3 weeks old today! They are starting to stand on all four legs now and can slowly walk without dragging them selves.
Eyes are very much all open and their ears are too, which means they can now hear properly!
They have been enjoying some time out of their den on the cool grass and they are at the age now where they will be handled constantly by the children. Building on their social skills.
