Happy 19th Birthday to Charlie! 🎉

Charlie is an incredibly important part of the Melbourne Eye Vet team, working behind the scenes to help keep the clinic running smoothly. From cleaning and restocking to jumping in with whatever needs doing, he takes care of so many of the jobs the rest of us simply don’t have enough hours in the day to get to and we’re very grateful to have him.

Outside of work, Charlie is an elite sprint kayaker who has represented Australia three times 🇦🇺 and somehow manages an incredible 15 training sessions a week across kayaking, gym and running.

He’s currently enjoying a gap year before starting a Science degree next year, and when he does get some spare time, you’ll usually find him surfing, hanging out with mates, or spending time with his dogs and cat.

Happy Birthday, Charlie! We hope you have a great day and we’re very lucky to have you as part of the team. 🎂🥳

🎉🎈 Happy birthday to an incredible nurse and even more amazing person, Danijela! 🎂🥳

A devoted mum of three, no matter how busy things get at home or at work, she is always ready to help. No task is too big or too small for Dani.

She also has a wicked sense of humour and thinks up the best practical jokes, turning the autoclave into a pizza oven will be hard to top. It’s always a good day when Dani is at work!

Today we’re celebrating one of the original OGs of Melbourne Eye Vet! 💚

An incredible mum to two, Elisha somehow manages to balance family life while still giving so much of herself to her work, her colleagues and every patient she cares for. She is one of the most genuine, kind hearted people you’ll ever meet … you’d be hard pressed to find a bad bone in her body.

Always happy to lend a hand, quick with a smile and a familiar face at our lunchtime quizzes (where she’s definitely one to watch!), Elisha makes Melbourne Eye Vet a better place every single day. Her kindness, compassion and unwavering support for those around her never go unnoticed.

Happy Birthday to our incredible Dr Allyson! 🎉🎂

If you’ve ever met Allyson, you’ll know she’s the perfect mix of brilliant, kind, caring... and just the right amount of wonderfully quirky! She somehow makes even the busiest days brighter with her sense of humour, endless compassion, and the exceptional care she gives every patient (and their humans!).

This year, she skipped the traditional birthday cake and chose an ice cream cake instead... because apparently being an adult means you get to make excellent life decisions! 😂

Meet this adorable trio — aunty, nephew and niece who came in to visit us at Melbourne Eye Vet. 🐶✨

With their sweet faces, big personalities and plenty of pug charm, they certainly stole our hearts.

We love seeing the special bonds between our patients, especially when they get to share their eye care journey together. How lucky are we to care for such a beautiful little pug family? 🥰
