We can monitor anaesthetics, place IV catheters, assist with delicate eye surgery and spot the tiniest corneal ulcer… 👁️

But finding the scissors or the pen we were literally just holding? Now THAT takes 20/20 vision! 😂✂️🖊️

Jokes aside, today we’re celebrating our amazing nursing team and all the hard work, skill and compassion they bring to Melbourne Eye Vet every day. From caring for our patients and comforting their worried humans to keeping everything running behind the scenes, you do it all with so much dedication and heart.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team. Thank you for everything you do for our patients and for each other. 💚🐾

Happy 19th Birthday to Charlie! 🎉

Charlie is an incredibly important part of the Melbourne Eye Vet team, working behind the scenes to help keep the clinic running smoothly. From cleaning and restocking to jumping in with whatever needs doing, he takes care of so many of the jobs the rest of us simply don’t have enough hours in the day to get to and we’re very grateful to have him.

Outside of work, Charlie is an elite sprint kayaker who has represented Australia three times 🇦🇺 and somehow manages an incredible 15 training sessions a week across kayaking, gym and running.

He’s currently enjoying a gap year before starting a Science degree next year, and when he does get some spare time, you’ll usually find him surfing, hanging out with mates, or spending time with his dogs and cat.

Happy Birthday, Charlie! We hope you have a great day and we’re very lucky to have you as part of the team. 🎂🥳

🎉🎈 Happy birthday to an incredible nurse and even more amazing person, Danijela! 🎂🥳

A devoted mum of three, no matter how busy things get at home or at work, she is always ready to help. No task is too big or too small for Dani.

She also has a wicked sense of humour and thinks up the best practical jokes, turning the autoclave into a pizza oven will be hard to top. It’s always a good day when Dani is at work!

Dani, we hope your day is filled with great food, relaxation and so much love and laughter. Thank you for being you.
