🐾 Today's Woofdate 🐾

Our newest guests, Zeus, Dolly and Sook, have settled in beautifully and wasted no time making themselves at home!

⚽ Zeus quickly found his favourite toy – the Tag Soccer Ball. His enthusiasm is second to none, although his "bring it back" skills might need a little more practice! 😆

⭕ Sook fell head over paws for the Astro Ring (both toys from Hound & Co Au). He was so excited after retrieving it that he couldn't help but give us a celebratory bark to let everyone know about his achievement! 🎉

🧸 Dolly, however, couldn't quite decide which toy she wanted. After carefully inspecting the options, she made sure she had my full attention and, using what I can only describe as doggy telekinesis, stared directly into my soul and instructed me to retrieve more toys from the climbing frame. When she didn't find what she was looking for, she confidently led me back inside to fetch her favourite toy from home! This is a girl who knows exactly what she wants—and exactly how to get it. Amazing! 👑

Safe to say these three have settled in perfectly, and we're looking forward to plenty more adventures with them during their stay! ❤️🐾

🐾 Weekend Woofa & Whisker Update! 🐾

It's been another wonderful weekend here at Whitsunday Pet Resort, with plenty of new friendships, zoomies, cuddles, and playtime! 🐶🐱

Our newest guests, Bear, Socks, and Marley, have settled in beautifully. This morning, Bear enjoyed a playdate with Marley, Winne and Bowie, while Socks has been happily settling into resort life and enjoying plenty of attention from the team.

🎾 Bear was busy zooming around the yard, while Marley, Poppy, Winnie, and Bowie preferred a more relaxed approach, each enjoying their own style of play.

Winnie was completely focused on the ball, while Bowie and Poppy took turns making sure they received their fair share of cuddles and attention.

Benji has also been very clear about his priorities this weekend — cuddles, cuddles, and more cuddles! ❤️

Meanwhile, Nala and Lulu have been putting on an impressive display of zoomies, and Smoko has been having a fantastic time with the toy collection.

We may also have discovered some new favourite toys! Sasha has fallen head over paws for the Kong Jumbler, while Harvey has claimed the Hound & Co Au Tag Soccer Ball as his own. 🧸

🐱 As for our feline guests, Burton had a little moment on the exercise wheel today — by which we mean he stood on it while accepting treats from staff! We'd call that a successful workout. 😹 Meanwhile, Mokai has been sharing plenty of smooches with the team. We also had a lovely memory pop up on our phone from Mokai's stay a year ago — it's incredible to see just how much he's grown since then!

It’s a very busy weekend here at the resort, with lots of new faces who have taken to their first stay with us in their stride 🐾

We’re still getting to know everyone, but it’s been a wonderful day so far — plenty of play to help us get to know each other (and wear us out 😅), followed by some well-earned rest in between.

A big shout out to our newest members: Winnie, Maisey, Loki, Muffin, and Floyd 💕

We also welcomed some regulars back — who apparently were not just here to play with us and actually had other important things to do (sniffers running wild 👃🐶), while we sat around waiting like we needed an appointment for their love 😂

I guess we’ll just have cuddles in the morning guys... 🥺💔🤣🐾

🐾 New Favourite Toy — Dog Edition! 🐾

A special shout out to our newest little face, Oos the Staffi 💛 He started his stay feeling a little shy and unsure, but just like the sunshine today, he’s warmed right up and has been showing us his sweet, playful side ☀️🐶

Safe to say… we think we may have discovered a few new favourite toys around here 👀🎾

🐱 New toy… cat edition! 🐱

As many of you know, we’re always on the lookout for fun new ways to keep our guests entertained — and this time, it’s the cats’ turn!

Introducing… the cat wheel! 🐾

This one is a wheel from One Fast Cat and, in our house, it’s an absolute must-have. We have a Bengal, Loki, who uses his day and night (yep… even in the middle of the night 😅), so we thought we’d give one a go in the cattery too.

As with all new things, it can be a bit hit or miss while everyone figures it out. So far… we’ve had exactly zero takers 😂 But we’re quietly hopeful that curiosity will kick in!

If your cat has a wheel at home and needs one while boarding — or if you’ve always wondered whether your cat would actually use one — we’ve got you covered!

And purely for entertainment purposes, we’ve included a video of our cat Loki doing what he does best… zooming on his wheel. It’s definitely his happy place! 😅

Wow… where do we even start? 🐾

Lately, we’ve been absolutely inundated with new customers who have found us through glowing word-of-mouth recommendations, and we just wanted to take a moment to say a very sincere THANK YOU. ❤️

There’s something incredibly special about hearing that people are talking so kindly about our little resort. To know that the care, love, and effort we put into every single stay is noticed means the world to us.

Truthfully, it never really feels like “hard work” when you’re lucky enough to spend every day doing something you genuinely love. Caring for your dogs and cats, getting to know all their quirky personalities, and watching them enjoy their holidays with us is something we’re incredibly proud of.

So hearing that our business is being recommended and spoken about in such a wonderful way gives us the biggest sense of pride — and for that, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 🐶🐱

On a little side note… we’ve just added a Google review tile to our front door! If you’ve loved your experience with us and feel like leaving a formal review, you can simply scan the QR code or (apparently through some sort of wizardry ✨) just hold your unlocked phone near it and it magically takes you to our Google review page… don’t ask us how, we’re still calling it magic 😂

As the new owners, we’d absolutely love to continue building reviews that reflect your experiences with us since taking over, and we’d love to feature more of your kind words on our new website too.

🐾 Wonderful weekend with wonderful woofas & whiskers! 🐾

We’ve had another beautiful weekend full of zoomies, friendships, funny moments and plenty of tail wags (and purrs!) here at Whitsunday Pet Resort! 💛

🐶 Rocco & Brutus had an absolute blast together. Rocco was loving the tagged soccer ball… although he only really put in the running effort once he realised Brutus was hot on his heels! Meanwhile, Brutus seemed perfectly happy just chasing Rocco around. Teamwork? Maybe. Chaos? Definitely. 😂

🐾 Lucy got her zoomies on again and had a wonderful play next to our boy Major, making the most of the weekend fun.

💛 Peach was SO excited to meet Chance through the fence, with the pair quickly matching each other’s sweet energy and zoomie levels! Peach made sure to stop back in regularly for pats (as any good girl should 🥹).

🐶 Daisy-Belle & Diesel have had a lovely stay, with Daisy-Belle making sure Diesel didn’t step out of line — every duo needs a boss, right? 😆

🎾 Rocket, Tilly, Louie & Marli enjoyed one mega playdate! Tilly and Rocket led the charge with the zoomies while Louie and Marli gave enthusiastic chase. Rocket treated us to plenty of hilarious facial expressions, although we still couldn’t quite capture one of his famous smiley faces! 📸

🐾 Mac joined in for a little run with the pack but decided the party life was a bit much and preferred some quieter one-on-one play instead — and that’s perfectly okay too.

🐱 And over in the cat world, Walter and Misses Buttons have started bravely venturing out into the catio and soaking up some fresh air, while Burton still very much believes he owns the place… and honestly, we’re just living in his kingdom 👑😹

Another weekend full of happy pets, wagging tails, purrs and lots of love 💕

Another wonderful week here at Whitsunday Pet Resort 🐾

Lots of Scentral Park walks, lots of wagging tails, and plenty of happy faces all around.

We’ve also had some new faces join us this week — Rocket and Rocky — and both boys have settled in wonderfully. Rocket’s absolute favourite thing is definitely his walks. His little strut keeps us laughing, especially when he gets distracted by butterflies along the way 🦋😂

Rocky, on the other hand, is as cruisy as they come. Nothing seems to faze this handsome boy and he’s been enjoying resort life at his own relaxed pace.

We love seeing each guest settle in, make themselves at home, and show off their own unique personalities ❤️

🌟 Today’s Star – Haisley 🌟

For those who don’t know, when a cat comes to stay with us for the very first time, there’s generally a 3-day “cooling off” period while they suss us out and recover from the dreaded crate-and-car-trip combo 🚗🐱 (most cats are definitely not fans of this part!).

After those first few days, they usually start to come out of their shell — and Haisley has stayed very true to the rule. Slowly but surely, she began poking her head out for a cuddle and a pat, and with some gentle encouragement, she’s now confidently strutting around, loving being out and about, soaking up all the cuddles… and even giving out a few little love bites here and there 😻

Well done, Haisley! We’re so proud of you 💕
