🐾 A Pesky Little Surprise for Oakley! 🌾💙

Sweet Oakley came to see us after a pesky grass seed found its way into his ear. Poor little man!

These tiny troublemakers can cause painful ears, head shaking and scratching.

Thankfully, we were able to remove the grass seed and give Oakley some much-needed relief.

Such a lovely boy — we hope those pesky grass seeds stay away, Oakley!

🐾 Happy Vet Nurse Day! 💙

Today we celebrate our amazing vet nurses and the kindness, compassion and dedication they bring to our clinic every day. 🥰

From assisting in surgery and monitoring anaesthetics to nursing sick pets, comforting worried families and giving those extra cuddles — our nurses do so much, always with genuine love and care.

We're so grateful for each of you, not just for the incredible nurses you are, but for the wonderful people we get to work alongside every day. 💙🐾

🐾 The Happy-Go-Lucky Bowser 💙

We always love seeing gorgeous Bowser — he’s an absolute gentleman and such a sweet boy.

Bowser recently came to see us with a very swollen ear, known as an aural haematoma. This happens when small blood vessels inside the ear flap rupture, causing blood to collect and the ear to swell — often following head shaking or scratching due to an ear infection, allergies or irritation.

Bowser’s ear was surgically treated by Dr Marina, and in true Bowser style, he was such a sweet and gentle patient through it all. 💙🐾

🐾 The Delightful Dodo 💙

With his sweet, gentle nature, it’s pretty hard not to adore this gorgeous boy. 🥰

Dodo recently had his cruciate repair with Dr Tanya and Dr Marian, and we’re so happy to see him making such lovely progress.

With his amazing pet parents by his side, Dodo is being very well looked after and getting plenty of love along the way.

Keep up the great work with your recovery, Dodo — you’re doing so well! 💙🐾

🐾 There’s Just Something Special About Rossi 💙

Just one month shy of his 14th birthday, gorgeous Rossi came in for his dental with Dr Tanya and Nurse Kaylee — and charmed us all, as always. 🥰

He sailed through his anaesthetic beautifully and had a lovely smooth recovery.

Rossi is a wonderful reminder that age alone isn’t a barrier to anaesthesia or dental care. With careful assessment, planning and monitoring, it’s about the individual pet, not simply their age.

Such a special boy — we just love you, Rossi. 💙🐾

🐾 Meet the gorgeous Hudson! 💛

Hudson recently came in for a dental procedure, and hiding beneath all that tartar were some painful diseased teeth.

Dr Tammy took care of those troublesome teeth, while Nurse Ausha stayed right by his side throughout his anaesthetic, keeping a close eye on him and making sure he was safe and comfortable.

He was such a beautiful boy to look after, and we’re so happy knowing his mouth will now be much more comfortable.

Well done, Hudson — you were an absolute star! ⭐🐶

🦘🌿 Supporting Our Local Wildlife 🌿🐾
We feel so fortunate to be able to help care for some of our beautiful local wildlife.

We couldn’t do it without the wonderful team at Kanyana Wildlife and our amazing local wildlife carers, who give so much of their time and dedication to helping injured and orphaned wildlife.

It’s a privilege to play a small part alongside such caring people.💛
