🐾 Kitten cuddles are always a highlight of the day.

Sora & Yoshi, two gorgeous 14-week-old Burmese kittens, visited us for their second vaccinations and completely won over Nurse Tayla with plenty of cuddles and purrs.

Vaccinations are an important part of keeping kittens protected as they grow, but we’re pretty sure the cuddles were just as important. 💕

Thank you, Sora & Yoshi, for brightening our day and reminding us why we love what we do. 🐱

Meet Dolly — our four-legged queen channeling full Dolly Parton energy today and absolutely stealing the spotlight around the clinic. Between the outfit, the attitude and the entrance, she had the whole team obsessed before she even made it through the door.
Safe to say staff productivity briefly stopped while everyone rushed over to say hello 💖
We will always make time for iconic patients around here.

🐴 Dr Bas will be out on a dental run Friday 15th May in the Sawyers Gully and Seaham areas.
This run is predominantly for equine dentals, however we may also be able to accommodate large animal outcalls depending on location and availability.
If you would like your horse or large animal added to the run, please contact the clinic to enquire or secure your spot.

Passions often start at a young age and this is so true of our industry. From kids who loved animals to the people now caring for your pets, supporting our clients, and helping keep the hospital running each day - it’s a reminder that passion often starts young.
We’re proud of the incredible people behind our practice and the experience, compassion, and dedication they bring to every patient and client interaction.
Some things never change… especially a love for animals. 🐾

There’s something special about the quiet moments after surgery 🤍

This little one has been so brave, and now it’s all about comfort and a few extra cuddles. Recovery isn’t just clinical care it’s gentle reassurance, monitoring and making sure they feel safe every step of the way.

It’s the soft pats, the calm voices, and the extra attention that help turn a big day into a smooth recovery.

Thanks Abby for letting us take care of you ❤️

Dolly might be 15, but she’s proving that resilience (and a little style) never goes out of fashion 🐾
After accidentally walking across hot embers, Dolly the cattle dog has been visiting us every couple of weeks for ongoing bandage changes and care. Burns can be slow to heal especially on paws so keeping the area clean, dry, and protected is essential to support recovery and prevent infection.
Her wonderful mum has found the perfect shoes to keep Dolly’s bandages dry and her feet protected while she’s out and about 💛
It’s a small adjustment that makes a big difference in healing and we think she wears them pretty well.
We’re so proud of you, Dolly. Keep healing, one step at a time 🐾

Meet buddy 🐾
Buddys been on a bit of a journey lately. After being diagnosed with uveitis (a painful type of eye inflammation), he started treatment with several ointments to help heal his eye. The catch with one of these drugs, is that it keeps their pupil dilated, which means bright light is suddenly really intense!
Most dogs need to be kept out of sunlight, but buddy is used to sporting some trendy doggy sunglasses. Never has recovery been so stylish. 😎
