Homemade dog food, turkey and chicken mince, lambs kidney, chicken livers, pumpkin, frozen veg, rice, turmeric/pepper, sardines. All cooked up and enough for my 2 border collies for a week, total cost roughly $30. Cheaper and much healthier than commercial dog food. Give it a go for your pups.$2 a meal not bad!

With the rest of the weeks extreme heat please keep your pets cool, inside preferably but if that’s not possible make sure they have shade and plenty of water. Put bowls in the shade too and put extra out. If you notice your dog is panting extremely fast and lethargic it may be heat stroke and will need vet attention IMMEDIATELY. Do not try to cool down quickly by wetting this can be dangerous!!
