H5N1 Avian Influenza (bird flu) is a serious virus with multiple confirmed cases in Australia. While it primarily affects birds, it can also spread to other animals and, in very rare cases, people.

As a precaution:�• 🚫 Do not handle wild birds unless absolutely necessary.�• 🐶🐱Do not allow pets near sick or dead birds

Advised to bring a bird to our clinic?�To help protect our patients and staff, please remain in the car park and call us when you’ve arrived. One of our nurses will assess before admitting the bird to the clinic.

🐾Celebrating our Golden Oldies 🐾

Our pets often require a little extra help to stay comfortable and happy during their golden years ❤️

Regular health checks are so important for seniors, helping us catch changes early and support their quality of life every step of the way. 🩺

Moonee Beach Vets will be closed from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th for Anzac Day.

Hi everyone 👋

We have a number of empty 20L plastic drums piling up at the clinic. Please visit reception if you’d like to take one (or even multiple!).

They have been used for distilled water storage but would be great for camping or gardening 🪴

We don’t have any spare tap attachments but these can be easily purchased at Bunnings!
