🌸 A Little Love Story in the Making... 🌸
Our beautiful Princess Leia has only just begun her honeymoon journey with the handsome JD, and already we are feeling so incredibly grateful for the love and excitement surrounding this special pairing. 💕
The response has been overwhelming. Before we even know if puppies are on the way, we already have 5–6 wonderful families who have submitted applications and joined the waitlist. 🥹🐾
As a breeder, there is something truly heartwarming about seeing families place their trust in our program and eagerly follow Leia's journey. It reminds me why I do what I do — raising puppies with love, care, and dedication from the very beginning.
✨ JD is everything we hoped for in a match for Leia — handsome, sweet-natured and simply stunning. Combined with our precious Leia, we are dreaming of a litter filled with beautiful temperaments, gorgeous coats and loving companions.
Those who followed Leia's first litter will remember the incredible litter of 7 beautiful puppies she blessed us with. Watching those babies grow and bring joy to their families was such a special experience. 💜
Now we wait...
We wait for nature to work its magic. We wait for the first signs that our princess may be expecting. And we quietly hope and pray that Leia blesses us with another beautiful litter, perhaps even another magical litter of seven. 🙏✨
For now, Leia is enjoying being spoiled and loved while we count down the days together.

🐾 A Gentle Change of Direction 🐾
As many of you know, I have always had a deep love for the beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Their gentle souls, affectionate nature and devotion to their families make them truly special dogs. ❤️
Over time, however, I have become increasingly concerned about Mitral Valve Disease (MMVD), a heartbreaking condition that sadly affects many Cavaliers worldwide.
This journey has led me to slowly step back from Cavaliers and focus more on carefully bred Cavoodles. While no breed is completely free from health concerns, responsible breeding programs, genetic diversity and careful health testing may help reduce the risk of inherited diseases over time.
It is important to acknowledge that heart disease can still occur in Poodles and Cavoodles too. There are never guarantees in breeding, but as ethical breeders we continue to learn, health test and make the best decisions we can for future generations.
My hope is that through careful selection, ongoing research and responsible breeding practices, we can continue working toward healthier companions while preserving the wonderful temperaments we all love so dearly.
The Cavalier will always hold a very special place in my heart. This change does not come from a lack of love, but from a desire to do what I believe is best for the future.

✨ Leia's Special Date ✨
Today was a day I have been dreaming about for a very long time. 💕
Princess Leia and I travelled down the coast to meet the most handsome gentleman imaginable... the beautiful JD. 🐾💙
As breeders, there are certain moments that feel incredibly special, and today was one of them. Watching these carefully planned dreams begin to unfold is something that never loses its magic.
A huge thank you to Sarah for welcoming us so warmly and making the entire experience so relaxed and memorable. Your kindness, knowledge and genuine love for your dogs shone through every moment. 🥰
Now comes the hardest part... the waiting game. 🤞✨
Whether this date results in tiny paws or not, I am simply grateful for the journey, the friendships made along the way, and the opportunity to give Leia such a wonderful experience.
For now, Leia is home, happy, spoiled as always, and we will patiently wait over the coming weeks to see if nature has granted us a little miracle. 💜🐾
Please keep your fingers crossed for our beautiful girl. If all goes to plan, we could have some very special little Cavoodles joining the Alkaz family in the future. 🧡
