Another fabulous little pup, this time a 5 month old girl, looking for her new home.
This girl is quietly confident, will cope with children older than 6 years of age and needs to be part of a family environment.

This lovely little man is looking for his new home.
He is 6 months old, a shy boy, but once he warms up he is fine. I would suggest a quiet home with someone with him all the time would be a perfect home for him.
Parti colour Pekingese have become rare in Australia, but the coloured Pekes are certainly accepted as recognised by the standard in which we breed to. All colours except liver, merle and albino are recognised and of equal merit.

I am starting my own crusade and campaign to bring back the colours.

For a long time now, the more common Pekingese seen in Australia are the cream/fawn with black faces.

This colour is so prevalent that a lot people are not aware of the other accepted colours.

According to the standard that we breed to, every colour is accepted and of equal merit (Australian standard: except liver, albino and merle).

I am starting to attempt to bring back the colours and put them back in the show ring.

I am aware that this will not be an easy task, and I have been told that judges will not award me, but I have greater faith in our judges.
Currently, the majority of judges award cream/fawn dogs, because that is the only colour before them.

Currently, in my experience, the colours are being lost in Australia and I want to bring them back.

Challenge accepted.

P.S. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, but I only speak for myself.

The envelope shaped head of the Pekingese is a hallmark of the breed.
Note the wider than high shape, the flat skull, round lustrous eyes, ideally open nares (nostrils) and the strong under-jaw.
