So happy we did this way ahead of time. Not so much to worry about with this highly contagious bird flu H5. Just put in place backyard shoes and no entry into backyard other than myself and husband wearing our backyard shoes and clean clothing. All chooks locked into their roost have to upgrade to a mesh door to allow sunlight. All being done now. Trees also being cut away from all cages. If anyone can think of what else I could be doing please leave comment. Can’t be too careful.

Exciting news! Our DNA results are back, and we have one male and one female Blue-and-Gold Macaw! 🦜💙💛

Beautiful big blue and golds.

Both have been fully parent-raised, giving them the opportunity to learn natural macaw behaviours from mum and dad.
