🐾 Tonight’s little companions — Billy & Frankie! 🐾

I’m spending the night looking after these two gorgeous boys while their parents are away, and I think I’m in for a very cuddly evening! 🥹🤎

You may remember Billy, my little ball of anxiety who I’ve been working with over the past couple of months. Seeing how far he has come with trusting me has been so rewarding, and being able to care for him without his parents home is such a huge milestone for us. 🥰

And now it’s time to properly introduce Frankie! 🖤🐾

Frankie is an extra-special boy who underwent major spinal surgery for IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) a few months ago. Because of his history, making sure he is handled appropriately, keeping an eye on his mobility and following his normal routine are especially important.

Having a qualified Veterinary Nurse looking after pets with medical histories can provide that little bit of extra reassurance while their families are away. ❤️‍🩹

For tonight though, our plans are pretty simple, keep these two comfortable, happy and spoiled with plenty of attention and cuddles. 😂❤️

Every pet I care for has their own personality, routine and individual needs, and that's what makes this job so special. 🥰

My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable and loved in their own home while you're away, while giving you peace of mind knowing they're being well looked after. 🏡🐶🐱

🐾 Meet Billy 🤎

This little man has been part of my weekly routine for almost 2 months now, but this is his first official appearance on the page! 🥹

Billy can be quite anxious around new people, so building a relationship with him has been all about patience, consistency and letting him move at his own pace.

And this week we had our BIGGEST breakthrough yet. 🥹❤️

For the very first time, Billy let me pick him up, settled on my lap and happily accepted all the cuddles, pats and kisses. Safe to say I needed photographic evidence because I don't think his parents would've believed me otherwise 😂📸

Moments like this are exactly why I believe meet & greets aren't always a one-and-done thing. Some pets need a little more time to feel safe and comfortable, and that's completely okay. ❤️

Not this Saturday, but the following Saturday, I'll be looking after Billy and his brother Frankie while their parents get married! 💍🐾

And Frankie has quite a story of his own following IVDD and spinal surgery… so he'll be getting his own introduction very soon. 👀🖤

So for now, everyone say hello to Billy! 🤎🐾

🐾 Molly’s Stay — That’s a Wrap! 🐾

Last Wednesday officially marked the end of my time looking after the gorgeous Molly. 🥹❤️

Safe to say, this girl has PLENTY of personality 😂 From following me around the house, giving me those classic Basset Hound eyes 👀, demanding attention and even making sure her opinions were heard loud and clear 📣😂 there was never a dull moment with her!

Molly even got to come along to work with me during her stay, where she was thoroughly pampered with a bath before promptly falling asleep for the entire trip home. 🛁💤

One of my favourite parts about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's individual personality and routine. By the end of a longer stay, they really do become part of your everyday life, so saying goodbye is always a little bittersweet. 🥹

Thank you to Molly's family for trusting me with their beautiful girl. Until next time, Miss Molly! 🐶💕

🐾 Two Weeks With Miss Molly 🐾

I’m currently spending two weeks pet sitting the gorgeous Molly the Basset Hound, and today she got to come along to work with me! 🥹💗

Of course, a trip to the vet clinic meant Molly received the full VIP treatment, including a lovely bath and plenty of attention and pampering from the team. 🛁🐶

Safe to say, all that excitement was exhausting… because on the drive home she was completely passed out in the back seat. 😂💤

One of the things I love about pet sitting is being able to include my clients’ pets in my day where appropriate, while still keeping their normal routine, care and comfort a priority. And I think Molly has decided coming to work with me isn’t too bad when spa treatments are involved! 😂

Now it’s back home for more cuddles, long ears and Basset Hound antics for the rest of our two weeks together. 🤎🐾
