And then there were 4! And foaling is done for Weemala for another year
At around 5am this morning Evening Star foaled down a tall black blingy filly!
This is Evie’s first filly and maternal sister to Weemala Skylark, Hearts’n’Stars and Dark’n’Stormy

Celebrating the newest addition to Weemala today
Moonbah Fortuna (Tuney) delivered a lovely tall leggy bay pure morgan c**t by Wirraway Trademark at the very respectable time of 10.30am
Tuney didn’t give us any indication this morning that foaling was imminent so she was let out to graze. A check of the cameras and Bell noticed her lying down and went to check and managed to get her into the foaling yard and Tuney did the rest like a Pro!
Welcome to Weemala Trade Secret (pending)
Thanks to Helga Frolich for the mare and Diane Howard for breeding the stallion
Can’t wait to see him unfold

Watching these two graze on the front lawn while I have lunch - who will foal first (the black) Evie, 14 days overdue or (the tobiano) Faith who is 1 day overdue? Both WB mares and both in foal to Moonbah Fortune Cookie (Morgan)

Mine and Sandi’s efforts over the last few weekends - note: we are still talking and sharing a bottle of bubbles! A 6m x 6m paddock shelter which could substitute (with a few more additions) for a foaling barn if need be! It is not perfect but we are pretty chuffed that we got it done!

2025 NSW State Country Showjumping Championships
Wow what a weekend.
Weemala Cougar and Sandi had their very first 1.15m start in the NSW Amatuer start.
Cougs jumped around it like it was a walk in the park and was so relaxed, being her first round at that height we didnt press for time and took some (very) long routes.... Over the moon to finish in 4th in a very competitive field of horses.

Cannot wait for the coming season

Today Weemala has a new addition, after a big weekend away showjumping our good mare Weemala Daliance (aka Clumper) waited until we were back home before foaling down a bay filly at 12:30am this morning! This lovely filly is the 4th of this cross and sired by Moonbah Fortune Cookie (Morgan).
