Welcome to Spring and September - the month Weemala performance horses feature in the Morgan calendar - I hope this month brings everyone joy and good things, we expect 2 foals this month and look forward to enjoying the warmer weather with friends, horses and laughter!

Nope Sandi - you keep your hands off this one ❤️! Having a ride on the youngsters, Sandi got a ride on the Handsome Weemala Hezacracka with Bel riding Weemala Fahrenheit - appreciate being able to work from home and enjoy a lovely lunchtime ride!

Looking through Weemala Fahrenheit (Jatz) ears while Sandi does some arena work with the young (very tall) tb. We are taking Jatz starting very slowly, so his long gangly legs can balance up gradually! At 16.2hh rising 4yr it will take a bit of time but very excited about his future as a performance horse.

Another great day out at ACTSJ club on the weekend.
Weemala Cougar jumped her socks off for a win in the 1.1m class!
Starting to feel so confident at the level I am starting to think about where to do her first 1.15m start!!! Both Weemala Hearts'n'Stars and Mighty Mary also had a couple of great rounds each with Bell.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that here at Weemala we have said goodbye to Springfield Dash. Dashie was purchased as a 3yr old by me (Bel) from Megan and Paul Keir the same year (2008) we bought the property now known as Weemala. This beautiful mare quite quickly became my favourite as we went on to have many adventures together, she would just do anything I asked. Dash after being my ridden horse for so many years also produced us 4 outstanding foals, Weemala Cougar, Weemala Monte Carlo, Weemala Hezacracka and Weemala Biscotti, 3 of which we have retained. The Weemala logo was created from a picture of Dash flying across the ground during a cross-country course and our mailbox also looks like her. We will miss you Dashie and you will always remain in my heart.

So nice to be out doing this again - a big weekend with 6 horses to Equestrian Park and a bit of an oopsie when Harry caught site of Cec (aka scary skinny man) between the jumps! Otherwise not bad for rusty old Bel who hadnt jumped any rounds since surgery back in February! Also first ever 2 rounds on Candy, Sandi had 2 great rounds on the ever consistent Cougs, and couple green youngsters to play with between jumping rounds!
