💙 Cooper 💙

Young Cooper the Bull Arab cross is back for a longer stay with us at HA HQ.

He has settled back in beautifully and become fast friends with little Junior who is happy to be his walking and bunk buddy.

While we enjoy Coop's company, we are also helping to maintain the training he has been undergoing with All Round Good Hounds. Cooper is a clever boy and tries his hardest to please his handler, so we are having a tonne of fun so far.

Cy is back for a few days too while his Mum has work commitments.

He enjoyed a tandem walk with Miss Dot before heading back home to his favourite perch. With the beautiful views we have here at HA HQ, he may as well make the most of them. 😉

Aunty Michelle visited us yesterday, so we enjoyed some tandem walks in the sunshine. 🌞

What more can you ask for? Great friends, good weather and gorgeous dogs. A fabulous day all round! 😊

Welcome Martha! 😘

Martha is a 9yo Kelpie who is here for her first visit. She is very well behaved, clever, energetic and super affectionate. 👌

Martha is also rather helpful, she managed to find a bit of seasoned wood for the fire while on a sniffari. 👍

We hear her full name is Martha Jane if she is being a little bit naughty, but we haven't really had the need to call her that. 😀 She may given Harry a bit of stink eye, but that was more than likely warranted. 🤣

The adventures of Lily and Ranger. 😍

Both dogs really enjoyed taking in the local sights, sounds and smells, but a quick nap was required afterwards. 😴

We think they enjoyed the experience, but they were super excited when they realised their Dad was here to collect them. 😀

Flashback Friday: ACTCA Journal Feb/Mar 1999.

Sheila had some nice results at the ACT Companion Dog Club Double Agility Trial back in November 1998, but her handler seemed to be having some sort of identity crisis. I've seen my name spelled a lot of different ways, but trying to actually pronounce these versions cracked me up. 😂

Seeing the names of old friends and their past dogs also brought back fond memories. 💗
