Welcome to Heels Angels Headquarters, Augie!!!

Augie is an adorable and ridiculously cute, 7yo, French Bulldog who has really landed on her paws in her new home where she is very much loved.

She is a joyful little character and impossible not to fall in love with....even if she does snore just a little bit. 😉 Augie does unfortunately suffer from seizures, but she is carefully managed with regular medication and is doing well.

It was a bit brisk on our afternoon walk, so Augie donned her green cape and instantly transformed into a new Marvel Superhero. Behold 'Frog Dog': Able to walk faster than your average human and leap hay bales in a single bound! 😂

Seriously though, she was very patient and well behaved while watching me prepare the evening meals for the horses. Thanks Frog Dog. 😘

Cy had a sleepover on the weekend, but he forgot to bring his coat and had to squeeze into a borrowed Cattle Dog sized one for our walk. It was a bit short for him, but it was still better than freezing. 🥶

We decided to grab a couple of photos out the front of a neighbour's house, which just happens to be where his Mum used to live with her family.

Cy was rather fascinated by the big wombat who seems to have taken up residence next to the driveway. We gave it a wide berth though!

Miss Ruby also departed HA HQ last week.

She showed us how clever and confident she is on the treadmill before she left though. What a superstar! 🌟

I can't really claim the credit for that though. Ruby has also been doing some canine hydrotherapy and fitness work at DogsSwim Canberra with her Mum, so a dry belt is now a walk in the park for this young lady.

Mr Satu went home last week and he was over the moon to finally see his family again.😍

FWIW, he was actually invited to join in the GSP slumber party, but he politely declined, preferring to munch his treats in his crate.

While he certainly seemed to enjoy his warm hydrobath and towel dry, he wasn't taking any risks that I just might bring out the trusty blow dryer again. I think it's fair to say that he not a big fan of the fan!

Thanks for your company Satu! 😘 We really enjoyed hosting you, and of course, capturing all the funny faces you make. 😂

Flashback Friday: 'Chant' as a foal.

This was taken just after I purchased him back, and that's a long story for another time, but he definitely landed where he belongs.

He came with his stunning dam because there was no way I was leaving her behind either. Both of them were thin, had worms and were covered in lice. 😩

Brave is his big brother and they are incredibly attached to each other. Devastatingly, and despite every effort to save her, I lost their mum several years ago to a tiger snake bite. 😭

He was nicknamed the 'Papoose' for quite a while until I decided on a name for him. His full moniker then became 'Tribal Chant', but he's just 'Chant' or 'Chaaanta' around here.

He is not currently being ridden as we both have injuries in the same knee! Of my three horses, Chant is the speedy one. Always keen to get where he is going and learns new things just as quickly. He originally had no spots, but as he has aged a few have appeared on his butt.

Love ya, my little horse. 🐎 ❤ 😘
