Yesterday two of my lovely young ladies went to the World of Cats show. ☺️
Little Oranah in the kitten ring for the last time up against the cold air coming through the vents, 4 judges, 25 kittens and hall full of the public walking through came out with 3 best of breeds, a 6th place and an 8th place. She hid under her blankets most of the day to stay warm so no people’s choice ribbons for her. 💞
My little, big Syalah went to her first show and thrown straight into the adult ring. She was really comfortable in her cage but when she realised there were other cats around she put in a few hisses and snarls once on the show bench. 😬 Up against about 30 cats, 4 judges and again a hall full of noise, she didn’t place but she walked away with 2 reserve best of breed, 3 people’s choice, a judges fancy and a stewards fancy. 💞
A very, very long day for all of us (15hr day) but we got through it unscathed. Super proud of the Hutcreek hormonal crew. 😂🥰
