Lest We Forget | Anzac Day
Today, we pause to remember the incredible courage and sacrifice of those who served. At Wagg & Purr Club, we also take a moment to honor the four-legged heroes who stood by their sides.

From the loyal messenger dogs in the trenches to the resilient horses and donkeys of the light horse brigades, animals have played an unforgettable role in our history. They provided more than just service—they provided comfort, hope, and unconditional friendship in the darkest of times.

While the red poppy remembers our soldiers, the purple poppy honors the animals who served and lost their lives.

Most "all-in-one" flea and worm spot-ons or tablets primarily target the Flea Tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). These flea treatments often do not cover the Hydatid Tapeworm. This species is usually contracted through raw offal or scavenging, and it poses a significant health risk not just to pets, but humans too.

Why give an extra tapeworm tablet?
A dedicated tapeworm tablet (containing Praziquantel) ensures you are hitting the species that flea treatments often miss.
Using a specific tapeworm alongside your flea prevention ensures 100% protection for your household.

Pro Tip: Always check the label of your flea treatment! If it doesn't explicitly list Hydatid Tapeworms, it’s time to add a dedicated worming tablet to your routine.
