Sometimes you don't need a 1:1 session to get help with unwanted behaviour

Why not book a Free 15min call with me to discuss your dogs behaviour to see if some tips can help

It may be as easy as what I advised Shadow's owner......

At meal-prep-time, Shadow vocalises by whining throughout the whole process - then gets rewarded for his effort by being fed

I advised to stop prepping the food and move away every.single.time Shadow started to vocalise but say.absolutely.nothing.at.all - don't even give him eye contact

Once he's quiet - go back to meal-prep

His owner did 6..... ONLY SIX walk-aways and Shadow was quiet till he was fed 🥳

Practice that with every.meal.prep and Shadow will learn to be quiet

Consistency. Patience. Trust the process 👌🏻

Owners tell me they want their dog off leash but then ask "how long will it take"...

There is only 1 answer:

"It takes as long as it takes - providing - you put the work in & follow my advice 🫶🏻"

Team Steve started their training journey with me back in April this year - they chose the Frustration To Fun Program

Team Stevie already had a good foundation of training so all I needed to do was work off what they'd already achieved, tweak a few things here & there, then we added in the Ecollar and BOOM - WINNING....

Then came practice, after practice, after practice...

Rep, after rep, after rep....

Questions and more questions.... followed by support worth its weight in gold... then the wins got more and more....

The Ecollar is not for everyone - and that is totally fine

But those who put trust in the training, have open minds to the tools on offer, will achieve incredible results with their dog 🌸

April 2026 to now (29h Sept 2026) = 6months of dedication, comittment, consistency & hard work

Like any dog, Paddy luuuurves the sun shining on him

Its this time of year where the morning sun is in the just right spot for him to lie and soak it all up

Just enough time for him to have his 'after brekkie nap'

I LOVE IT when I receive messages from my clients 💕

They message me between sessions, or after their program has ended with videos for feedback or if they have any questions

I'll respond with some tweaks, or give them other options to try for whatever they're working on

Dog training can be very messy. You try something a few times and all seems A-Okay

Then the next day - its a sh!t-show

I help my clients to problem solve.... and to read their dogs body language to identify what their dog is saying...

And most of all.... how to get those important small wins

The small wins are what builds the bigger picture for us and our dogs

Overtime those small wins get linked together to achieve the end goal

Never give up!

Work with a Trainer who will NOT ghost you if you ask for help!

Working with a trainer is a 2way street.... we help you in the 1:1 session or the group class, and its up to you to practice.... and reach out if you get stuck and need some feedback 🫶🏻

Eddie - Almost 5mths old 🥹

This was session 2 of 6 and he's showing amazing progress with:

🐾 Recall
🐾 Leave it
🐾 Engagement Games
🐾 Not pulling on the leash
🐾 Not jumping on visitors

He's not perfect (secret.... there's no such thing in dog training!)

We have to take it slow - baby steps!

We have to build his muscle memory little by little so when he's older he will:

Turn on a dime when he hears his recall

He'll walk away from when he hears 'leave it'

He'll engage with his owner when he hears 'chase me' or 'get it'

And he'll progress into loose leadh walking organically

Training a puppy takes time. patience. consistency. hard work. and to ride the wave of frustration

At the end of the day - you're teaching a different species to understand you.

A species that does not speak english and has different instincts to humans

Being patient. consistent. and have fun are key

Eddie is adorable and I'm in love with his squishy body and beautiful shiny coat 🥹

The NSW Government made this decision without consulting the people who will be directly affected.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘

We now understand the decision was made in December. Other MPs also knew it was a done deal.

All the while, the Government continued advertising that it was consulting with stakeholders.

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘

The Minister sent a letter stating that the Government had consulted stakeholders, naming the PDTA, K9 Sports and the AAPDT.

They did not consult the PDTA. That claim is false.

K9 Sports has also confirmed it was not consulted in any meaningful way.

𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

The NSW Government invited the Victorian based AAPDT to a video conference while hand picking stakeholders who support the prong collar ban.

How can a Victorian organisation be treated as a higher priority stakeholder than the NSW trainers, dog owners, working dog handlers and disability handlers who will be subject to this legislation?

𝗪𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Not a rushed ban based on a process that appears to have selected voices supporting a result already decided.

“Developing the Dog” seminar presented by Dr. Michelle Rassool was packed with so many valuable takeaways!

There were plenty of “ahhh, now that makes sense!” moments...

Some “YES! That confirms exactly what I’ve been thinking” moments....

And definitely a few “well… I never knew that!” moments too.

Dr Michelle is an incredible presenter. Always ready to answer questions and has a real knack for taking complex information and delivering it in a way that’s easy to digest, and easy to understand

I bekieve a good seminar will leave you walking away with your brain buzzing..... connecting the dots, confirming ideas and looking at familiar concepts from a different angle.

There’s certainly plenty from this one to think about, unpack and put into practice!

A huge thank you to all attendees who gave up their saturday, to learn more about the dogs they train or that come into their care 🫶🏻
