My name is Jools, and I’m a Nationally Qualified Dog Trainer (NDTF) I grew up in Birmingham (UK), Keir (my husband) is from Manchester (And no! He doesn’t know Liam or Noel Gallagher from Oasis!). We’ve been together since 2003, and we emigrated to Melbourne in 2011. Like most people, I’ve always had dogs in my life, but I’ve naturally developed ‘a knack’ with training them (I‘m known as the Barbara Woodhouse of the family!)
I taught Socks (my Aunts dog) to collect the newspaper from the letterbox and drop it at her feet! With Foster, (the 1st dog I ever owned), I taught him to crawl under a blanket when he let one rip! Paddy (our current dog) knows how to spell the word DOG! Dogs are amazingly, loving animals, and once you’ve developed a concrete gateway of communication with them – they will do pretty much anything! Like us humans, we learn every day.
