It’s been an exciting week and a bit. We are onto week 2 of welcoming Kaz to the Woof Wagon team and we have packed in a bunch of stuff. We haven’t just groomed your wonderful Woofs, we have laughed, we have done lots of learning about ourselves, eachother and your Woofs, completely overloaded our brains but it’s been a hoot and I’m pretty sure we’d both do it all over again. Here’s to the end of week 2. Big Thanks goes out to all you most glorious Hoomans who have welcomed Kaz as warmly as your Woofs have. Thank You! Thank You! 🙏🏽🥰🫶🏽

This guy. Buddy. He is the best little man with a beautiful coat. From a groomer’s perspective, Buddy has the best coat to work with; the end result always looks…*Chefs Kiss* 💋
It’s coats like Buddy’s that the best teddy bear face can be attained, his fur sits perfectly, it is easy to shape and if washed well, dries relatively quick. But!…..Buddy struggles with the dryer. He hates it in his face, actually, to be completely fair, Buddy hates anywhere on his head being touched. So while it pains me as a groomer having all these fantastic elements to create the perfect teddy bear look, Buddy’s wellbeing trumps all of that and that’s where having tricky conversations come in. Being upfront with Buddy’s owner, letting them know how Buddy feels; helping them understand to achieve that cute teddy bear look means placing Buddy under stress (that I as a groomer will not do & I find completely unnecessary). Thankfully, Buddy has wonderful owners, so, this is Buddy’s finished look…a sort of Teddy Bear face, which isn’t completely dry but it works. It’s a win-win; Buddy’s owners get the look they like & Buddy’s stress levels are kept to a minimum.

It’s not the tightest of spots and we’re not saying we enjoy it…but we do get a little flutter under our wings, ok, ok, yes that’s our ego jumping around- you got us…but it is rather satisfying when you can back up like a badass 😜 and may we add, this is by no means a request for a reversing challenge; just celebrate with us ok? ….(and stroke our ego a little) 🤣

Rusty, this little guy’s first experience with us was as a Puppy and he was just the best little Puppy, it was instant love and we fell hard into his soft personality. Fair to say Rusty has grown yet he is still the soft, sweet little floofy Woof. Love ya little Rusty Woof 🫶🏽
