How cute are those big 👀 on one of our ringtail possums ‘Petal’, enjoying a rare treat 🥜
The ringtail possum (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) has a prehensile tail that works like a third hand, helping them grip branches, carry nesting materials, and build their cosy leafy nests 🌿
We can all help protect our native wildlife by keeping our cats indoors at night, giving these nocturnal critters a safer chance to thrive. 🤞

What we see 👀 vs what Luna sees 🦜😂 The friendliest animal of our Educreatures family is ‘Nahla’ our rescue pup 🐕. Nahla and ‘Luna’ our Major Mitchell Cockatoo have become the most unlikely of best friends. So much so, every morning she has to rush out to say hi to her feathered best friend 🫶🏻

Did you know ⁉️ Although the Australian Blue-Legged Tarantula has eight eyes 👀 👀 👀 👀 , they have surprisingly poor eyesight and instead rely on thousands of sensory hairs covering their legs to detect even the slightest vibrations around them.

These ambush predators spend much of their lives hidden within deep burrows, waiting for insects and other small prey to wander past before striking and envenomating their prey. 🕷️
