CASPIAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Meet 3 year old Mally boy Caspian!
Caspian is quite a big fella with charm that matches his good looks! He’s also very cheeky in typical Mal fashion, and for that reason he needs a family well versed in handling boisterous, stubborn, large dogs.
Very affectionate and then aloof when the mood suits him, Caspian is looking for a home that is committed to continue working on good manners and training him to walk nicely on lead.
Due to his size and youthful energy, he’s best suited to an environment where he has plenty of space to run around, secure fencing and no little people. He would also not be suitable for a home with cats or other small pets.
He may possibly be okay living with a female dog that is accustomed to the Arctic play style, but he would also be very happy to have his human family all to himself.
Caspian would love to start a new life in his forever home, so if you meet his requirements, please go to our website for more information: https://arcticrescue.org.au/

Our goofy Mally boy Wingman has been adopted!
Wingman came to us from a council pound where he had been surrendered by his young owner who was living in an apartment. He's a big boy with plenty of get up and go, so clearly that was never going to work out well!
After many months with his foster family Robert and Stacey, he went to meet Maree and Mark who had recently lost their beautiful Mally girl, Aspen who they had adopted through ARV 8 years ago.
And luckily for Wingman it was a perfect match, and now he is in his forever home with a big yard for his shenanigans!
Thank you Robert and Stacey for caring for this big fella for so long, and congratulations to Maree and Mark on finding their new fur-family member who they have now (more appropriately) named Zeus.
What a wonderful outcome for everyone! 💕

Bam has been adopted - a while ago actually, but better to share the news late than never!
Our 3 year old Mally boy Bam has been very lucky to find himself in a wonderful home with his new doggy companion, Khan. We really weren't sure this was going to work out as having two boys together and such a large age gap isn't the ideal recipe for success, but we need not have worried.
Bam's wonderful new owner Michael has done all the things right with taking the introductions very slowly and carefully, and all that has paid off with Bam now well and truly settled into his new home with old boy Khan.
So thank you Michael for giving our gentle giant Bam the loving new home and family he deserves! 💕

Roski has been adopted!
It's hard to believe that this stunning boy was in foster with us for over a year with very little interest in him.
Over that time his manners improved and he became a very affectionate and easy dog to have in our care.
Roski wasn't noisy, he didn't dig or try to escape, he travelled well in the car, his initial mouthing behaviour was resolved with a little bit of training and he was just happy mooching around on his own. What more could you want in a Husky?
Then one day we received an application which sounded like the ideal home for Roski, an active family with Husky experience and a lovely big secure yard. So off we went on the long drive in the hope Roski would win everyone over with his good looks and charm, and find himself his forever home, and he did!
Thank you so much Jason and Sandra for welcoming Roski into your family, we miss him but are so happy that our handsome boy finally found the new life and loving new home he had waited so long for!

Dusty has been adopted!
We often get senior dogs coming into our care, and we take them in knowing there's a good chance they will be spending their remaining time with us, particularly those that have health issues.
Such a case is Dusty, an 11 year old gentleman who wasn't in the best condition when he was surrendered to the RSPCA, and was subsequently found to have hip dysplasia, arthritis and a few other health concerns. Despite his limited mobility and requiring medication to ease his pain for the rest of his life, the lovely Judy was still very keen to make the effort to travel quite a distance to meet him.
The rest as they say is history, with Judy and Dusty falling in love with each other at first sight! So it was no surprise to us that after few weeks on trial, Judy wanted to officially adopt Dusty so she could care for him in his senior years and give him the best life we could have hoped for him.
Thank you Judy, Dusty has truly hit the jackpot!
While Dusty is one of the lucky ones, we still have quite a few dogs in our care needing new homes, some that we have had for quite a long time.

Ollie would love to be in a new home for the New Year!
Ollie is a cute little Husky boy who came to us from a regional pound with no microchip or history, but he is estimated to be around 5 years old.
Ollie is a pretty easy-going fellow who is happy to have another dog around, but he is also content to mooch around on his own or lie in his favourite spot in the house. He’s also happy just chilling out in the yard, and hasn’t shown any inclination to dig holes or escape.
Unfortunately another dog grabbed him by the ear which did a bit of damage and resulted in the tip of his ear needing to be removed, but we think it just adds to his personality and gives him a jaunty look!
Ollie is very interested in wildlife and other animals, so a secure yard with gates and fencing at least 6 foot high is a must, and he would not be suited to a home with cats or other small pets.
If you are interested in having Ollie join your family, please check out his full profile and photos on our website:
