This week’s ⭐️ patient: Yuki the sweet Frenchie who underwent a vulvoplasty 🐾💜

Vulvoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin folds around the v***a. In some dogs — especially certain breeds like French Bulldogs — these folds can trap moisture and bacteria, leading to chronic skin infections, irritation, and discomfort.

By reshaping the area, we help prevent future infections, reduce pain, and improve overall hygiene. This means more tail wags, more comfort, and a happier pup! 🐶✨

Recovery is usually smooth, and most dogs feel relief almost immediately. Here’s to healthier, more comfortable days ahead for our little patient!

⚠️ Lillies and cats are a combination no pet owner ever wants to face.

Sweet Iona recently came into our clinic after ingesting lilies and vomiting shortly after. Thankfully, her owners acted quickly and sought immediate veterinary care — giving her the best possible chance at a full recovery 💜

Lilies are extremely toxic to cats, and even small amounts of pollen, leaves or vase water can cause severe kidney failure. Early treatment is critical.

👉 If you suspect your cat has come into contact with lilies:
• Seek veterinary care immediately
• Call ahead so your vet can prepare
• Do not wait for symptoms to appear
