To help protect our birds, other patients, and our team, we’re asking everyone to follow these important steps:
⚠️ Please CALL us before bringing any bird to the clinic if the bird has: • Sudden illness or weakness • Difficulty breathing, coughing or sneezing • Diarrhoea • Loss of appetite • Neurological signs (unable to stand, twisted neck, circling, paralysis) • Sudden or unexplained death in a household or flock with multiple birds

Australia continues to maintain strong surveillance for avian influenza (bird flu). While the risk to the public remains low, early reporting and good biosecurity help protect our pets, wildlife, and poultry.

Beautiful Percy the Pomeranian puppy came in for his vaccinations the other week and was the bravest boy during his injections. But while we had eyes for him he only had eyes for the delicious treats afterwards!

Please be advised that Gear Avenue will be closed from 30 April for sewerage works.

The road will be closed Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, for approximately five weeks.

During this period, you will see Road Closed and detour signage, as well as traffic control at the intersection near the clinic.

Please note: You can still access the clinic car park via Gear Avenue. Do not follow the detour signs if you are visiting the clinic.
