Big round of applause for these kids 👏👏👏👏

Buddy, Maggie and Goose have been outstanding throughout their group sessions over the last month 🐶🎓🐶🎓🐶🎓

We've been working on refining all of our walking skills and our social skills while we're out in the world.

Maggie has only had a few experiences meeting new dogs but she has the most beautiful manners and personality 💜
Maggie really stepped into leading the boys, showing them how to be calm and polite when saying hello to new friends.

Goose made some great progress matching pace with his human while walking and his impulse control.
Goose can get excited when he comes to school, he was able to calm himself, being a perfect little gentleman for us.

Buddy, this was a massive achievement for a highly reactive dog who has very little experience in social settings.
The change in Buddy over the last few weeks is mind blowing!!
He has excelled, going from massive explosions at the sight or sound of another dog in the distance to no reaction at all!!
Buddy progressed to the point he was able walk as a pack with the others, remain in close proximity while following direction, and he has really become an expert in ignoring distractions remaining totally focused on his human!!

So proud of how well the 3 of you did and how you worked together to produce some amazing outcomes!!

I spent some time getting to know this handsome boy over the weekend 😍🐶😍

Raven is still quite young at just over a year old and he's missed out on learning a lot of the skills required to help him live as a member of a family.

We have two fails!

As the story goes, he failed at becoming a guard dog in his previous life and now he is foster fail!

His foster family have fallen in love with him and adopted Raven ❤️

It didn't take long to see that Raven is not what you'd call an "easy" dog.

Raven likes to be running the show, directing the humans to do exactly what he wants, when he wants!
Raven has learnt a few tricks in his previous life on how to herd humans, jump up and use his size to let you know how he feels and he will use his teeth to grab and nip those who don't comply to his ideas!!

Step by step with this boy!

We will be working on getting that jumping and biting under control while providing appropriate outlets to meet his working needs, a predictable routine and some basic obedience skills to get him started on his journey with his new family.

You're a stunning boy Raven, make sure you do your homework....I'll be checking in to see how you're doing 😘

🐶🐶 GROUP DOG TRAINING COURSE 🐶🐶

20th, 27th September, 11th & 18th October
4 WEEK COURSE

This is a 4 week course, at a cost of $250 per dog, each class running for 90mins.

Perfect for those just starting out or those wanting to gain/further their experience in a group setting to proof existing skills

We will be covering common behavioural issues and basic healthcare, obedience training, socialisation, recall, a variety of walking styles along with calming, focus and leash techniques, and a few party tricks just for fun!

This is a "life skills" course designed to teach you and your dog skills and cues which will enable you to manage your dog in a variety of situations that you will encounter in everyday life.

This course is available to non-aggressive(reactive dogs are welcome to attend), all age groups welcome (minimum age 16 weeks)

Before you bring a dog home… what research have you done?

For many families, choosing a dog begins with love.

💗 “We have always loved this breed.”
💗 “They are beautiful.”
💗 “Someone we know has one and they are amazing.”

The question is not:

❌ “What is the best dog?”

The question is:

✅ “What is the right dog for this home, this family and this lifestyle?”

There is no perfect breed and no one-size-fits-all answer.

But education before ownership gives families and dogs the best chance of success.

We've spent the last couple of weeks working very hard on our social skills and using our very, very best manners with each other 💜🧡💙

Maggie has been outstanding, stepping into the role of being our top dog and setting the very best example for the boys to follow.

Maggie has remained calm and polite, setting the pace and maintaining relaxed energy levels, which has been exactly what we needed during our group sessions.

Goose has had some playtime outside of training with a friend of his, that experience had taught him that playtime is all rough and tumble, and let's get crazy!!
Not really the energy we want him bringing into situations when meeting new friends 😬
Very pleased to say that he has toned that down during social interactions and is now exhibiting the behaviours we are aiming for, allowing him to interact nicely and giving him the ability to engage with other dogs without things getting out of hand.

Buddy.....only a few short weeks ago he was very, very reactive towards other dogs and not able to tolerate so much as seeing them off in the distance without an explosive melt down!!

Buddy's progress has been impressive to say the least 🎓🐶🎓

He is comfortable with the other dogs in his class, he is now at the point he shows no reactivity to their presence and he has progressed to the stage of walking happily with his new friends without any stress at all.
Buddy completed the session this week remaining focused and not a single sign of reactive behaviours towards any dogs we encountered on our adventures 👏👏👏

Gold Stars for everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We got these kids together for a little socialising and group training on a windy morning yesterday!!

All 3 of these dogs were absolutely outstanding and exceeded our expectations...they all made so much progress in a challenging environment

Buddy has exhibited some decent reactive behaviours in previous sessions and we knew this would be quite a big step for him, sharing space with new dogs.

Maggie and Goose did a magnificent job of setting a great example, being calm and relaxed, ignoring distractions and not reacting to their new classmate.

They kept their energy levels nice and low which really went a long way with helping Buddy to learn how to maintain focus on his human and ignore rather than react to the other dogs.

Maggie and Goose practised their walking skills, maintaining pace with their owners at various speeds, which did initially provoke some reaction from Buddy, but he quickly reset and was then able to join in and gain some experience walking in a pack with his new classmates.

We made a massive amount of progress, I couldn't be more pleased with how well these dogs and their owners worked together to produce some exceptional results.

Great work guys, absolute superstars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
