I’ve got a story for you, a typical ‘FAIRY Dog Mother ADVENTURE story.
The LA Rams & SanFran49ers are in Melbourne to play a game. The 49ers have been here a week & I saw them on the telly saying that they Love Melbourne, the food, the coffee, the people & that they half expected to see crocs in the streets & really wanted to see kangaroos.
As I was filming these roos I was thinking this is where the visiting Americans should come to see them.
I had a story going on in my head, a wish you could say🙏 I’d like to show them the roos out here. But my special place is a well kept secret. Walking thru the bush, I stopped on the track for a breather.
Wondering up the track came two people. They said hi to me & the dogs & walked on up the hill.
I followed on behind & commented, ‘Isn’t this a beautiful piece of bush & so the conversation began.
It turned out they were RAMS FANS here from LA to see the game. They had googled kangaroos near Melbourne & found my little piece of bush.
I offered to guide them to where they might find the ROO’s. I took them up to the historic marker beyond the look out & then back thru the bush to show them the spots where I had seen these roos.
I got my wish to show visitors American Footballers or fans at least our kangaroos & a whole bunch of native birds & bush plants. YaYE!!
Of all the places, times & tracks to be, we met in the middle of nowhere.
GO figure. How LUCKY🍀
