We have 3 locations in Marian, Walkerston and Mackay where your pet is in the best hands with our friendly team of Vets and Nurses. Snake bites can be life-threatening and require immediate veterinary attention.

Signs in pets may include:
🐾 Sudden collapse or weakness
🐾 Tremors, shaking or lethargy
🐾 Vomiting or drooling
🐾 Unexplained bleeding
🐾 Dilated pupils
🐾 Loss of bladder/bowel control
🐾 Difficulty walking or paralysis

‼️ If you suspect your pet has been bitten, contact your closest veterinary clinic immediately. Don’t wait for symptoms to appear, and if you’re unsure, call your vet for advice.

Happy Veterinary Nurse Day! 🩺🐾

Today we celebrate our incredible veterinary nursing team and the passion, dedication and compassion they bring to our clinic every day.

Vet nursing is a diverse role that extends far beyond the treatment room. Our nurses support clients at reception, assist our vets, provide hands-on patient care, prepare and monitor patients for anaesthesia, assist with procedures, administer medications and care for patients throughout their recovery.

Our nurses are caregivers, educators, advocates and a reassuring presence for both patients and their families. Their knowledge, skill and compassion make an invaluable difference to the care we provide.

Please note that we will be closed at Marian, Mackay and Walkerston clinics today, Monday the 5th of October for the Kings Birthday public holiday.

All 3 clinics will reopen as normal tomorrow, Tuesday the 6th of October.
