We are all mourning the loss of Matagi, perhaps the most beautiful stallion in the mountains. To think that such an animal could be purposefully harmed by anyone is unimaginable. and yet it has happened. I know many of us will be feeling hopeless right now. Please reach out to your friends, your loved ones, tell them how you feel, and let us all hope for a positive outcome for the remainder of Matagi's mob. Matagi was everything a brumby stallion could be, the personification of Thowra himself. He will never be forgotten.
