This girl is feeling much better now. This is what happens when dogs are left through the winter when owners don't realise they can have there dog groomed, but left at a bit longer and still manageble length. If groomed regularly they won't get matted and have to be shaved down to nothing. This also can cause the groom to be more stressful to the dog as they are not used to being done and it is not as pleasant for them. Your dog will also have a higher chance of getting nicked through the groom as the mats pull and can get caught in the clippers.
So please get you dog groom regularly to keep them comfortable and enjoy being groom.
