This is one of the best videos I’ve come across to highlight the situation of all the reasons why it’s so so important to start puppies early with grooming. They should have been to the groomer at least once between 12-16 weeks, and pref back up every few weeks for the next few months before settling into a regular routine of 4-12 weeks depending on coat type. And sadly, this is also a big factor in why I’ve stepped away from hair cut dogs after 40 years. My heart was done with dealing with terrified combative matted puppies left far to long until their first grooming appointment.
