Just a couple updates from me regarding current orders, Christmas, postage etc.
Lots of people have checked in regarding my hand - thank you!! Yes, it's healing but it's a slow process that I can't hurry up. It's one of those situations where I have been told to 'move it but don't use it'. Some MBH products can be made without it, and others, where I need to have an index/thumb grip/pinch (more intricate bridles, kerseys, saddles) just need to wait a little longer. I apologise for delays but handmade does take time anyway.
Please also note that all orders for bridles that were placed from 27th June when my guaranteed pre-Christmas orders were announced as closing, are in my book 'Christmas orders'. I set this date with my hand in mind and whether they were ordered with the intention of being a gift or not, the timeframe is the same - they will be out well before Christmas but please don't expect them by the end of October.
Just in regard to postage, all my items are lodged over the counter with my beautiful local Aus Post shop (as the app overcharges me dreadfully and lodging over the counter avoids me having to pass ridiculous overcharges on to you) .... this is why all orders require a valid phone number and this number is printed on your parcel. Please don't put a dodgy one in the order to avoid sms marketing - I don't sms/email market anyway and this number is put on your package and lodged with Aus Post to enable them to send delivery notifications direct to you. This is not 'tracking' - you won't get updates every time the parcel moves, but the system should let you know when the item is ready to collect, via text message to your mobile phone. By all means chase things up (I of course can track a parcel manually) but please give it a reasonable timeframe before you ask. I get that it's frustrating to wait but the more time I take responding to questions regarding post, before they've had a chance to travel from me (in regional NSW) to you, is less time I have making things.
Also, I no longer respond to messages after 7pm or on weekends so if you message during those times, that's completely ok, but just please expect that I won't get back to you until Monday or business hours the next day x
