Keeping cool on a very warm day while pet sitting 🐶💦

When temperatures rise, safety always comes first.
Today was all about short walks broken into 2 instead of one big walk, shaded breaks, water play and plenty of hydration to keep these two happy and comfortable.

Hot day tips for dog owners:
• Walk early morning or later in the evening
• Avoid hot pavement – paws burn fast
• Swap long walks for enrichment or water play
• Always provide fresh water and shade
• Watch for signs of overheating (heavy panting, drooling, lethargy)

Your pets wellbeing is always my priority 🤍
