Snake catcher Allen had a bit of a surprise waiting for him at a property in Ta Kowai today a double banger!
Two coastal carpet pythons at the one house.
One of them had decided the roof was no longer for him and literally dropped through the ceiling, then tucked himself away under a chair. Meanwhile, his mate was still cruising around up in the roof space like he owned the place.

Two snakes, one call out… Allen certainly had his hands full today!
Great job, Allen. 🐍

For context I was putting my hoop bag in front of this common tree snake trying to usher him the other direction. Instead he stood up all tough like his distant relative the eastern brown.
