Panda 🐾🌟

This beautiful girl is a bit of a hard one to crack. She’s naturally a bit wary of new people, and can take some time to come out of her shell, but once you’re in she is the sweetest, most affectionate dog!

Her favourite game is to play chasey in the paddock, and hide behind the bushes waiting for you to try and catch her! Spoiler alert, you don’t stand a chance, this girl is FAST!

Humphrey 🌟

This scruffy little guy is such a smoocher!
While he loves the occasional zoom, his favourite activity is to give lots of kisses (to both humans & dogs,) and sit on your feet demanding cuddles.

We love our little noodle 💓

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our CEO - Burger 🐾✨💓

It’s been 6 years since this demanding little pup entered my life, and man has she turned it on its head!

Never stop being who you are burgs. Some people may find your excited bark piercing, joke about your incredible talent for giving side eye, and complain when you run into them full pelt with an entire tree branch, but I think your pretty perfect 🥰

Sometimes you need to do less with your dog.

I’ve put a lot of work into building Maggje.
Food drive? 🦴 Got it
Toy drive? 🥎 Absolutely
Engagement? 🐕 You bet, she’s just happy to be there.
But can she do nothing? No. Absolutely not.

This is an area that I’ve really neglected in Maggie’s training.
Partially because we had other things to work on, partially because I didn’t realise it was going to be an issue, until it became one!

Now that most of Maggie’s other behaviours are pretty reliable, her owner wants to be able to take her anywhere. Maggie is more than happy to go anywhere, but she won’t be able to settle, and she will most definitely be vocal about it!
So like all other behaviours, we need to go back and put in the work to teach it. It’s not overly fun for either of us, but in the long run it will result in a dog that can not only go anywhere and everywhere, but one that’s more relaxed in the world!

Take my mistakes as your sign to sometimes skip the extra ball throwing session. You’re only building an athlete, who still won’t be able to sit down and watch the world go by with you.

He’s a big loveable goofball and never fails to bring his infectious excitement and energy to play date!

Bandit 🩵

Bandit is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd who struggles with being around new people, especially those who come to the house.
He’s naturally a little nervous, and has faced some pretty big changes in the last 6 months that have exacerbated some of his reactive behaviours.

In his first session we worked on
🔹 introducing clarity to his training with markers
🔹 building a reliable place command, also creating a safe space that he can go to when people enter the family home
🔹 thresholds with the front door
🔹 biologically fulfilling games - think flirt pole, herding balls and adding obedience to games of fetch.

He is a smart boy from strong working lines, so scratching the right itch in his brain is crucial to creating a more relaxed and fulfilled dog, that is better able to deal with the daily stresses of life.

The ultimate little pocket rocket!
There is nothing Lucy loves more than running flat out with her friends - except maybe chasing ducks, she’s a big fan of that too!
Don’t let her tiny size fool you, she’s full of life and personality, and can convince just about any dog to play with her!
