Farewell Memphis 🐾🤍

Today was Memphis’ last day at daycare, and bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. We’re so excited for your new adventure, but selfishly wish for some extra plays!

To say we didn’t sob would be the biggest lie, because how do you say bye and see you later to the mama of the lodge? The friend to all. The gentle teacher. The calm in the chaos. The girl with the best smile and the sweetest soul in the entire world.

Memphis has been the heart of so many friendships here. She brought together the littles, the bigs, the fluffies, the sillies, the loungers and everyone in between. She is the foundation of so many circles, the one who makes every yard feel warmer, softer and more complete.

We will miss that propeller tail, those bossy howls when she demanded we bring more friends into her yard, her silly bouncy bursts of zoomies, her love of greyhound snouts, and her sunbaking sessions with her big girls.

A yard without Memphis just won’t feel the same.

We know daycare was meant to be a gift for you, but we think the bigger gift was actually ours. We were the lucky ones who got to love you, watch you guide others, share your beautiful energy and be part of your days.

While we will miss you terribly — people and pooches included — we are so excited for your next big adventure travelling Australia with your pawrents. What a life you are about to live, sweet girl.

Thank you for every smile, every cuddle, every gentle lesson, every happy howl, every zoomie and every memory you gave us.

This isn’t goodbye, Memphis. It’s bye for now and see you later. Go sniff every beach, nap in every sunny spot, find all the greyhound snouts, and show Australia the magic we were lucky enough to know. 🐾✨
