Why do dogs sometimes bring up yellow liquid or foamy vomit? 🤔

Yellow vomit indicates that your dog has vomited up bile and stomach secretions, which means they had an empty stomach. The underlying issue could be an actual gut irritation or another health problem causing nausea. 🐶

It’s safest to have your pet checked promptly if:
• they have vomited more than twice in 24 hours
• they aren’t drinking adequately for more than a couple of hours
• they seem lethargic or weak
• you suspect your pet may have eaten something toxic

If in doubt, phone our helpful team for advice or book a consultation. 📞

🌺 Lest We Forget 🌺

This ANZAC Day, we pause to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We also take a moment to recognise the incredible animals who stood beside them—loyal companions who carried, protected, detected, and comforted in times of war. From horses and dogs to pigeons and beyond, their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember them all—both human and animal—with gratitude and respect.

Our clinic will be closed as we join in remembrance, reopening Tuesday 28th April.

❤️ Lest we forget ❤️

This week, as the veterinary community celebrates Veterinary Receptionist Week, we’re incredibly proud to recognise our amazing team.
Our fully qualified veterinary nurses who gravitate toward the reception area bring not only their clinical knowledge, but also a genuine passion for client care. Their compassion, dedication, and friendly smiles are what welcome every client and patient through our doors.
They are often the first point of contact, offering reassurance, support, and understanding—sometimes during very emotional moments. We are so grateful for the vital role they play in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our clinic.
Thank you for everything you do 💙
