It’s been a beautiful morning here at Marigold Park! 🌸✨
If you’ve been following our stories, you’ll know that Cleo has finally welcomed her much-anticipated foal!

A gorgeous palomino filly! 💛

She’s as cute as a button, with the prettiest little face, just like her mumma.

So far, they’re ticking all the right boxes, hitting those important milestones and thankfully, have had minimal complications.

After the worries surrounding Cleo’s placentitis, it’s such a relief to have her girl here, healthy and doing well.
We’re feeling very grateful this morning. More pics to follow as she dries off and unfolds!

Poor Dottie is well and truly in the uncomfortable stage now! 🥹
She gets so big in those final few weeks, and with the recent warm, humid weather, you can definitely tell she’s ready to get this baby out! 🐴🤍
For now, it’s lots of scratches, back rubs and a little extra TLC to help ease the aches and pains for our girl. Not long now, Dottie! 🥰

First positive for the season — and a very exciting one at that! 🥹🤍

After losing her 2025 foal midway through pregnancy due to a birth defect, followed by a horrendous breeding season with strange cycles and unhealthy ovulations. We pulled out all the stops and just couldn’t get her in foal.

This year, we decided to try again… just one last time and first go, she’s in foal! 🥹✨

It feels extra special to finally see that little blob after everything we’ve been through with this mare. A positive 😉 start to the season.

Really in the final stretch now for Cleo — she’s officially hit her due date! 🥹🐴

We noticed a few mild signs this week that had us concerned about possible placentitis, so we had her checked over. Thankfully, her foal is looking happy, healthy and very active, with no signs of placental issues. Symptoms are looking much better after a course of antibiotics.

Now we wait for her to do her thing..
So is it going to be Buckskin or Palomino..??

Bit of a tidy up for the girls and moved up closer to the house while we wait for these babies

Lightning is home 🤍

Straight off the float so calm, relaxed and happy. Couldn’t be more grateful to Flinders and Rebecca for the incredible job they’ve done with him. 🥹

Our little cat Dior has now been adventuring outside and has decided this is how she will attend feed runs morning and night.
She’ll follow me on foot and meow until I stop so she can’t hitch a ride in the bottom of the pram.
Cheeky girl!
