The unseen side of taking a team of 40 to a show:
The hours of packing/unpacking, setting up/pulling down
The extra trips up to the show with the hay needed for a week for 40 head
The 2 trips home with the cattle, last loaded out at 9.15pm…last cows in paddocks 11.30pm

MASSIVE thank you to Kelly, Amber, Dani & Alex for all your help with set up/pack down - we appreciate it more than we could ever say!

Also huge shout out to Scotty’s Livestock for the late night ensuring all our cattle got home safely.

We kicked off the 2026 show season a little later than originally planned, but this weekend saw us head over to Pittsworth Show.
With a team of 17, mostly newbies, the main aim was to get them out and about, but all bar one of the team picked up a ribbon….and everyone behaved well…win win!

The weather gods were kind to us, and with the assistance of understanding stewards, the multi showring gods were kind to us too (😜) 17 head across 4 rings can be a tad stressful 😂
