Lovely B graded ewe, but the legs are her down fall. Too close together. Hopefully it's something we can try to correct with a good ram. Because she's so close to purebred in her grading if her lamb grows out to have legs similar then we'll put her future lines back to foundation and start again.

Call me a conspiracy theorist with a tin foil hat ect, I don't care but .. i think i know why we had to get booted. Myself personally, would NEVER agree to this. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and this for me, in my opinion, connects all the dots. A second breed standard for shows. What has this breed come too. I wonder if the members voted this in. I wonder if they even know about it. Mark my words, this will be coming to the goats section very soon. If this can happen in the sheep world, it can happen in the goat world then where from then. But i guess if it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. If it looks like a babydoll, it must be a babydoll 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

From my observations, it's clear to see that somehow in the babydoll world this word has been forgotten or lost. I've never seen a breed so politically ripped apart. It boggles me. We all just want to breed a high quality animal that reflects the breed standard of our choice and compliments our vision and the dreams we have for our stock.

Personally we are trying to create a very close American type miniature sheep that is as cute as a button and reflects it's name, Baby Doll. Many years ago when i first ever heard about this breed, American babydolls were one of the first, most adorable things I'd ever seen and that's exactly what i want.

Looking forward to the future because i see some amazing sheep coming 🥰🥰
