Please look closely… because yes, that really is Paddington 🧸🐾

Complete with his very own “Paddington” blanket, this sweet boy arrived ready to steal hearts and Dr Erin was absolutely smitten from the moment she met him ❤️

All he was missing was a little blue coat, a red hat, and a marmalade sandwich hidden somewhere in the clinic.
Polite, cuddly, and impossibly charming… very much living up to his famous name.

We think even Paddington Bear himself would approve 🐻✨

🌟 Hydro Dogs of the Week: Zoe & Georgie 🌟

These beautiful sisters are more than just adorable faces… Zoe and Georgie are hardworking canine athletes! 🐾💪 They attend Hydrotherapy weekly to help keep their bodies fit, strong and conditioned for dog sports and competitions.

Not only does Hydrotherapy support muscle strength, fitness and recovery, but it also gives these girls a fun outlet they genuinely enjoy! 🏊‍♀️✨

Their mum is truly one of a kind and so incredibly devoted to their overall wellbeing. From physical health and fitness to mental enrichment and happiness, every detail of their care is thoughtfully considered ❤️ She even makes their treats from scratch using human-grade quality ingredients… and yes, we’re all a little jealous! 🍪🐶
Check out their treat page Zoe & Georgie's Snack Shack Munchies!

The hydro team always looks forward to swimming Zoe and Georgie because their bright, happy personalities light up the pool room every single visit. They keep us laughing, smiling and thoroughly entertained from start to finish 🥰

We absolutely adore you girls! 💜

✨ Meet the Team - Coralie ✨

Many of you will already know Coralie’s friendly face around the clinic! 💜

Coralie has been part of the Noah’s Crossing family for 7 years, with another 7 years under her belt. Coralie brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and compassion to every patient she cares for 🐾

When she’s not at work, Coralie’s home life is just as animal-filled!
She cares for:
🐶 3 dogs
🐴 4 horses
🦘 12 kangaroos
🐱 2 cats
…plus agisted horses, extra dogs, and birds too!

Her favourite animals are horses, dogs, and kangaroos which makes perfect sense once you meet her ❤️

Within the clinic, Coralie especially loves hospital nursing, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitation, helping patients recover comfortably and confidently.
Outside of work she enjoys horse riding with a focus on vaquero horsemanship, spending time with her dogs, and working as a wildlife carer 🐴🦘✨

We are so lucky to have such a dedicated, caring, and experienced nurse on our team 💜

Sunny is giving major Disney Pixar side character energy with that cone on ☀️

You know the type… overly dramatic, impossibly cute, and somehow still convinced they’re the hero of the story.
One head tilt and we’d hand him the entire movie contract 🎬❤️

Feel better soon, Sunny!

Little Soula came in for her desexing procedure and made herself very comfortable while waiting for her turn 🐾💜

Snuggled up nice and toastie warm on the hot air bags, she soaked up every pat, cuddle, and bit of attention from the team. She didn’t mind the fuss one bit!
In fact, she was so relaxed she even closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment 😴✨

We love making sure our patients feel safe, warm, and loved every step of the way 💕

🐾 Hock Injuries in Active Dogs 🐾

We’ve been seeing a noticeable increase in surgical cases involving the hock (ankle) in dogs lately. Particularly in our performance and agility superstars 🐕💨

These highly active dogs are at greater risk of fracturing the small bones within the hock due to the repetitive stress and high impact movements their sports demand.

When this happens, surgery is often required to carefully realign the bones and stabilise the joint. This may involve the use of screws (sometimes multiple), plates, or even external fixation to ensure the best possible outcome 🦴🔩

In one recent case, we identified chronic bony changes within the long plantar ligament (highlighted in red).
These changes had developed over time due to ongoing irritation and can eventually lead to damage within the tarsal (hock) joint itself.
In situations like this, surgical removal of the affected tissue is often recommended to restore comfort and function.

Early intervention and appropriate management are key to helping these dogs get back to doing what they love safely 💜

If you have a working or sporting dog and want to learn more about prevention of sport related injuries or notice any signs of lameness, stiffness, or reduced performance, don’t hesitate to have them assessed.

Always worth a check! 👀🐾

Violet came in to see us after her owners noticed some unusual behaviour at home. While she seemed quite comfortable otherwise, a thorough physical examination revealed a large lump tucked away under her armpit 😺

After taking samples and examining the cells under the microscope, the lump looked a little too suspicious to leave alone, so surgery was recommended to remove it 🔬✨

Thankfully, Violet was a very brave girl through the whole process and is now recovering well with lots of love and cuddles at home 💜

This is your reminder that subtle changes in behaviour can sometimes be the first sign that something isn’t quite right.
If your pet is acting differently, it’s always worth getting them checked over as early detection can make all the difference 🩺🐶🐱

🏁 Hydrotherapy? More like race day! 🏁

Molly and Ivy take their swimming very seriously… especially when they’re competing against each other! 😂

These two gorgeous older girls come for the many benefits Hydrotherapy provides for arthritis management including improving mobility, maintaining muscle strength, and helping keep those joints moving comfortably.
But despite their age, neither girl is willing to let the other win easily! 💦🐾

Headstrong, determined, and just a little bit competitive, Molly and Ivy make every session entertaining for the team.

Of course, in our eyes, they’re both winners 🏆💜
