Gelding your horse - What's the process? 🥜 💉🧼

As the weather starts to warm up, spring is often an ideal time to geld colts and stallions. The cooler conditions can make recovery more comfortable, and scheduling the procedure before the peak summer fly season may help reduce some of the challenges associated with wound management.

Our next scoping day is scheduled for August 25th 2026 🩺

An ideal time to scope pre competition season.

If you’ve been concerned about your horses Gastric Health, or noticed signs of ulcers, our scope days are the perfect opportunity to have a comprehensive consult and scope performed at a very special price.

These days are ideal for horses suspected of having gastric ulcers, and/or as a follow up for those who have received treatment.

Signs your horse may be affected by ulcers:
✔ Weight loss or poor condition
✔ Dull coat
✔ Teeth grinding
✔ Reduced appetite or picky eating
✔ Behaviour changes under saddle (irritability, girthiness, reluctance to go forward)
✔ Behaviour changes on the ground (Increased sensitivity to touch or grooming)
✔ Increased stress or anxiety levels while resting, travelling and / or working
✔ General poor performance
✔ Some horses will not display outward signs of ulcers, but can be equally affected.
